Tim de Laat That’s very helpful actually. I don’t have Let’s Go yet, but was planning on getting Let’s Go Eevee. I’m torn between using Alolan Marowak and Arcanine right now. I also want to use Alakazam, but none of my friends are getting the games. Is there any easy way to get Alakazam?

Go to diglet's cave and catch 100's of diglets. This will power up your team and score tons of candies. Use the diglet candies to max out diglet's stats. There isn't a stronger pokemon than a maxed out diglet/dugtrio. Give him/her headbutt, earthquake, dig, and whatever else you want. You will need another pokemon to take out haunters though.
getting to dragonite is less of a pain than it used to be due to how a chansey catch combo works especially in cerulean cave due to the high level. you can get an insane amount of exp of it you can also get dragonite in the sky as a rare spawn after becoming the champion.
You can catch a growlithe at the top of Vermillion City. Then go to the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City. Go inside then go inside the elevator. Then select the wise mans gift shop thingy. You can then go to the front desk and buy a fire stone for 5,000 Pokecoins. You can then use the fire stone on your growlithe to make it evolve into Arcanine. (P.S if you take arcanine out of its pokeball you can ride it. Along with other big pokemon.)
I was pretty skeptical about the new catching system but I actually really enjoy it. There are times that it can be a bit frustrating like when the pokemon keeps moving around. But I like how easy it is to level up your team through catching pokemon. It definitely makes the game a lot easier but I still find the game to be enjoyably challenging.
Starmie destroys the elite four all by itself without much investment. With hydro pump, thunderbolt, ice beam and psychic she hits pretty much everything for super effective damage. Or you can go defensive with light screen+ recover. I think she (he? It?) deserves a lot more love. She is my #1 in these games :-)
10:24 While i agree with Alakazam likely being the most powerful, there are SO MANY Pokemon that can learn dark type moves, specifically Crunch. With the moveset you recommended, Alakazam would go first, but won't kill a Gyarados for example, but one single Crunch from it WILL kill the Alakazam due to the high attack of Gyarados and low Defense of Alakazam. There are others as well like Arcanine and Snorlax who both have really high Attack. However, for simply playing through the game and mowing down the Elite Four for money to spend on Ultraballs, Alakazam is a beast. I personally use Gyarados for my Elite Four runs for $.
Honestly I believed Nidoking would be somewhere on this list. You can get it extremely early and it clears a lot of trainers by itself. It's move pool is so wide that it can be used for dealing with almost any type of pokemon.
@@leevikv You dont "give" them. Theres an NPC in Vermilion City (sitting on a bench) who say's ahe will give you something if you catch 5 Meowth in Let's Go Eevee or 5 Growlithe in Let's Go Pikachu. Afterwards, she will gift you with Arcanine or Persian respectively.
Over in Vermillion City. You can tell lady what Pokémon you like better, Meowth or Growlithe, If you choose Meowth, you have to collect 5 of it (in let’s go eevee) and 5 growlithe in let’s go pikachu to get Persian. If you choose Growlithe, you have to collect 5 Meowth to get Arcanine
I swear to god, once you boost its speed and defences a bit with candies, with its movepool wigglytuff is honestly amazing, I’m doing a mono normal playthrough of lets go pikachu, my team is wigglytuff, alolan ratata, snorlax, pidgeot, kagaskhan and Tauros, and srsly wigglytuff is carrying my team so hard, dazzling gleam, psychic, brick break and body slam, beastly
You forgot venasaur if you teach it growth and mega drain absorb or giga drain and if you learn it sleep powder you can make you opponent sleep while charging growth and then you can 1 tap their entire team and heal any damage you took
You can get arcanine early on in LGE by catching 5 meowth and showing them to some girl in Vermillion city. When you talked about dragonite, I had a terrifying thought, Let's go Hoenn, Gym Leader Norman.
Alolan Raichu is all you need for elite four. Defeated Lorelei with thunder and thunderbolt, beat Bruce with psychic, beat Agatha with psychic and thunder, then beat lance with thunder and thunderbolt.

I'm surprised that Rhydon wasn't on the list. Sure, he does have a lot of weaknesses but using him in my Let’s Go Eevee game, he was a strong physical attacker who could hit fast. I don't know. Maybe it's just me.
3 days??? I completed the game in 23 hours including catching moltres articuno zapdos mewtwo and meltan btw snorlax is easy to get its apart of the story
@@tylsavage557 They have a small chance on appearing above a route when you are flying on a Charizard, Dragonite or Aerodactyl. Wjen you have a catch combo of 10+ they appear constantly (There is also a chance that the legendary birds appear, but that is a lot more rare)
pffft you need to learn to play like a casual xd get the pokemon you *want,* unbalanced team or not --(this coming from someone who planned out their team weeks before the game released)
For Arcanine, which is on my team, in pokemon eevee you can speak to a woman in vermilion city I belive and if you have a meowth you can trade it to ger for an arcanine and vise versa for leys go pikachu where you trade a growlithe for a persian. I hope this helps!
Matt I beat the Elite 4 with a Level 100 Charizard, no other Pokemon needed. I’ve beat the Elite 4 six times now and I did Charizard only, no swap outs four of those times.
Mew, Charizard, Partner Pikachu, Beedrill, Venusaur and Articuno make up my current team. Absolute beast. Beat Giovanni before even reaching level 50 across the board. (Still have to slaughter E4)
I was gonna say that you can get Arcanine in Vermillion city if you catch 5 Meowth’s and trade them with a lady but someone already beat me to it in the comments
So this is something I’ve been thinking on the past couple days. For the future of Let’s Go they should come out with one DLC before the Johto games are release. That DLC should be the Orange Islands with the 4 Island Leaders, that you have to complete a Trail before Battling them once you beat all 4 you can challenge there Champion. In the 4 islands I think you should be able to find some Alolan form Pokémon along with so new unique variations of Pokémon (don’t about this part though). The next games in the Let’s Go installment I don’t believe you should have to give up your current partner Pokémon. Now just hear me out your partner gets to keep 2 of it’s moves and is reset back to lvl 5 but the candies you gave it don’t disappear they just temporarily become inactive until you beat all 8 gyms. Also all your Pokémon that you caught in the first game get locked to you until you beat the 8th gym.
I wanted to use a strong balanced team of Pokémon I've not used before. Went with: Golem Alakazam Arcanine Poliwrath Vileplume Electabuzz, being replaced by zapdos
I wasn't aware the Let's Go games cut out abilities. That sounds like it would make the experience a bit jarring after having them be such an integral part of the game since gen 3, but it also sounds like it would be fun to adapt to that.
