Ive ridden every major coaster in the US and it takes alot to "thrill" me but Iron Gwazi back row in the afternoon is the only coaster I thought wanted to murder me.
I rode all the coasters at BG including the Gwazi before the iron. I however am afraid to ride the Iron Gwazi. I know It doesn't make since, but it is what it is. I will avoid it like a plague. My favorite is still the Montu, super smooth ride😜
Cheetah Hunt is a great coaster, i will never understand why it's not more appreciated. When it opened i waited 3 hours in line and never got to ride it. Years later i walked right on and loved it! I care deeply about ride aesthetics, and that running up a tree like a cheetah element is both visually stunning and fun.
It is great but also overrated and not deserving of the long waits it gets. I just went and it was fun but rides like Mantua and kumba were only 20 but was actually just walking through the line.
@@MahiGod88 Enthusiasts actually trash on this coaster badly. I think it’s a good step up coaster between cobras curse and the monster B&Ms like montu and Kumba, but it has a couple sneaky airtime moments. Heading up the wind catcher tower, going down it, the twisted hill after the straight track and the strong airtime hill after the final launch. Good ride, but can’t stack up against pretty much any thrill ride at BGT or Florida. The reason why it gets long lines is that kids like to ride it.
This park gets a giga n its curtains as itll be the best all around coaster park in america, every ride runs flawlessly and the park is so well maintained. The lineup is origional and second to none
im biased bc im a big launch fan and intamin blitzes are my fav coasters but i still agree. igwaz is def much more intense, but overall i think velocicoaster is the better experience, even if you didnt consider the queue
Steel vengeance second half extension to make the ride longer has a staple affect on your legs just to throw you up and before you can even Enjoy the air time you’re slammed back down… just doesn’t have that enjoyable moment it’s just added to make the ride longer my opinion. my opinion also, it’s not even the best ride at that park. Maverick is.
@anthony7569 Anthony, I usually go on like Wednesdays or Thursdays lol. And NEVER on holidays. I'm glad your wait time was so good! Hey sometimes you just get lucky! 😁
Kumba is without out a doubt one of if not the worst rollercoaster I’ve ever been on, the head banging is next level on this one. Coming from a Florida native Busch gardens pass holder
Kumba is very sentimental to me, and I get the smoothest rides on the front row. Even I'll admit she's a little rough but primarily in the middle to the back of the coaster.
Gwazi is SO awesome..did not stay in my seat the whole ride..we have annual passes to busch..this yr we are going Universal...will.let you know which is better..but love the lineup at busch...montu,Tigress,kumba,sheikra,cheetah hunt is probably the best lineup in the nation next to cedar pointe
Everything at Busch Gardens is beautiful. You can go there all year for the price of one ticket. Where everything in Orlando is over priced. Busch Gardens is best theme park in Florida!
@@HondaTurboToys I was so nervous going on Serengeti Flyer for the first time lol. Then literally as soon as it boosted off all the nerves left and I knew instantly it would be awesome.
i went iron gwazi for the first time last month and that day was my first time ever riding actual coasters and gwazi was very intense but still enjoyable! i’ve heard it’s more intense than vc as far as the elements its has so i think i’ll enjoy vc more as a new coaster fam but time will tell!!
I am going to BG in a few months. I really liked Velociraptor when I rode it last year. It was fast, smooth and fun. It also didn't make me feel like blacking out like The Hulk made me feel. If I wasn't a fan of Hulk, should I pass on IG?
Velocicoaster and Iron Gwazi are two very different rides. Iron gwazi is by far the best RMC I have rode but Velocicoaster is an amazing launch coaster with speed and inversions. All around for theming and ride experience Velocicoaster. Gwazi though is my favorite RMC. I would avoid Cheetah Hunt, its a kid coaster compared to the rest it doesnt even have speed. The serangeti swings go faster than cheetah hunt. A flat ride is faster than that coaster 😂.
Idk what it is but I’ve ridden SV and IG dozens of times I don’t get the same level of excitement from IG. In fact I really don’t think it’s close either :)
I was there in 2015 and I never tried it I wish I did, but this time now I'm older we will do all, it was only the Shikera I rode it was so GOOOOOODDDDDD but very high
Iron gwazi and Velocicoaster are two completely different rides. When you're going on gwazi, you know you're gonna get that ejector airtime and first drop. When you're going on velocicoaster, you know you're gonna get beautiful scenery, fast launches, and quick snappy inversions. It just depends on your preference, but i personally prefer velocicoaster.
Iron Gwazi! I have about 333 coaster credits, and Iron Gwazi is my number one. And I’ve road Fury 325. I’ve rode steel vengeance I’ve rode millennium force I’ve rode intimidator 305, I wrote a lot. I also love your video, because Busch Gardens Tampa is my home park and you nailed everything. It was hard to beat Montu then came Iron Gwazi. I love the way you say I don’t know why I love cheetah hunt that much I just do. It’s awesome. Why is it awesome many little reasons that add up to a lot. Sheikra… been on six dive coasters, Sheikra is number one.
Velocicoaster is a better experience with the theatrics of the que and the overall theming, Gwazi is a better coaster. Both are great, but every trip to Florida, I must hit BGT for Iron Gwazi, especially at night!
Cheetah chase is the most uncomfortable big rollercoaster I have ever sat in. He shoulder brace is a bad design for anyone over 5’10 the brace cuts into your shoulders and is made worse during the ride when the “g” forces it down harder. I will always go on the ride when I visit but only once because of this reason
I’ve ridden both more times than most people will in their life times I’ve ridden velocicoaster over 30 times and I’ve not been going to the park for two years and I missed the first year it was open velocicoaster is by far the best. And I know I get hate from those RMC steel vengeance simps but I’ve ridden both and volocicoastwr is the best roller coaster in the entire world
Kumba was terrible , my head hurt soo bad. The only worse Florida coaster I rode this past week was the hulk and i rode it 10 years ago and it was smooth as butter.
When I went to bush gardens I said “hey dad can we go on Shekra?” And he said yes so we were in the line and these people that were on the VERY VERY top before the drop they go stuck up there for 30 minutes and the ride was closed and 4 RIDES WERE CLOSED THERE!!!
This was my most disappointing park I’ve been to. So poorly run and every coaster was extremely underwhelming, didn’t get to ride Sheikra though so hoping for that on a return trip.
Has anyone ridden wildcats revenge in Hershey and iron gwazi? If so which do you think is better. I’ve ridden both and it’s close but I’m gonna say Gwazi.
I went a week ago…. Someone threw up all over kumba… they had to shut off the ride to spray it….. and the worst part it would have been my seat too… but I have a phobia of vomit so it made me not want to ride it so I skipped :(
I live in tampa. I think cheetah hunt is way overrated, kumba is underrated, a friend of mine helped build Montu and its still on of the best, but i got in to a horrible car accident in 2019, not my fault, but after a 1.6 million dollar 8 hour back surgery and lots of inpatient physical therepy later, my neurosurgeon said he'd kill me himself if i ever got on a coaster again in my life. I already have to be very careful for the rest of my life just doing normal things. So ill never get to experience Iron Gwazi. It doesn't look very good anyway, so i doubt I'm missing much....lol. yeah, right! Im FURIOUS i cant ride it!!
IG will try to hurt a well person. My one word I used to describe it when asked after my first ride was "violent". Wishing you the best on your road to recovery 🫶
i love rollercoasters but some reason i can’t do wooden coasters because it always looks like i’m gonna get decapitated, so i never enjoy the ride because i’m always ducking 😭
I have not been since the 2008 inbev hostile takeover. They sold off the parks immediately and everything went downhill within weeks. Most of the animals disappeared overnight and everything fell into a state of disrepair. The hospitality house also ended within hours of the hostile takeover. I was born and raised in Tampa and had an annual pass from birth to 2008.
