Definitely was a bit of a struggle. Especially since everyone else typically cover the usual issues. And the good thing about those “donuts” is that they can’t get any worse! 😅
For the brake dust issue, I spent an afternoon ceramic coating all 4 wheels. Took them off and thoroughly cleaned them and did 3 good coats of ceramic coating. On my F82, I really have zero issues with break dust on my silver wheels. Well worth the time. 👍
That’s a pretty clever fix 🤔 I might go that route. I did pick up some EBC Red Stuff brake pads a while back. They’re supposedly OEM level good with less brake dust. The dust wouldn’t be brown but grayish instead I heard. Sounds like I’ve got options 😄
@@HotRodM4 I think you’ll be pleased with the results. Degreasing the barrels of the wheels entirely and letting them dry completely before applying the ceramic coating helps. I just used the cheap $20 ceramic jars on Amazon. Shocked at how clean my wheels have remained. 🏁
I’m not a fan of my steel brake rotors rusting or discoloring around the hub of the rotors. It’s hard to get a good photo of wheels when the rotors look horrible
