That’s a pretty clever fix 🤔 I might go that route. I did pick up some EBC Red Stuff brake pads a while back. They’re supposedly OEM level good with less brake dust. The dust wouldn’t be brown but grayish instead I heard. Sounds like I’ve got options 😄

@@HotRodM4 I think you’ll be pleased with the results. Degreasing the barrels of the wheels entirely and letting them dry completely before applying the ceramic coating helps. I just used the cheap $20 ceramic jars on Amazon. Shocked at how clean my wheels have remained. 🏁

@@HotRodM4 yes the pads cost a little more or around the same price as ebc red. But I have the same rotors as you. No problems for a year

I’ve heard that name Akebono before. I’ll keep that in mind if I don’t end up running the EBC Red Stuff I have in the garage.

@@HotRodM4 Yup, almost no dust and still stops well. You just lose a bit of that initial bite from the stock pads.
