Heard recently, Two hikers were found dead and one has been rescued after authorities believe they were caught in a flash flood while trekking the popular Buckskin Gulch slot canyon in southern Utah. So, Slot Canyon Hiking could very well be Dangerous?

A panini is just a sandwich pressed and grilled between two grill irons (like a waffle iron). The cheese and all get melted together, and grill marks appear on the bread. Really pretty delish...really great video - I love Southern Utah...

Kinda like a George Foreman Grill, but it locks in place to make the sandwich even. I really like the panini made with sour dough or rye bread.

It doesn't have to be grilled though as its just a sandwich made from any of what in Italy is consider Little Bread/Panino. In my family we just pan grilled them and had a set of press plates with a floral design on one side that we heated over a burner or in a hot over to embellish them after grilling and at times when those weren't handy we'd just use the iron Grispelle forms (many just make Grispelle in round rings or somewhat pretzel shaped its all optional) and heat them instead to make a design often in a pan of spiced hot oil. My grandmother brought the forms and plates with her along with the family bread yeast in the late 1800's when she came to the US from Sicily. In Italian if you see "ino" added to the name of something it usually means a little one such as when Nicola has a grandson named after him they will call the grandson Nicolino or Little Nick so Pane/bread when its a small loaf is Panino and multiple slices becomes Panini. Of course Madison Avenue and the Ad industry spins it to something a bit different and "Elite" (more expensive) here in the US. Best!

I'm in the UK, too, but I spent much time in Utah in the 90s. I was mostly up around Price but loved exploring the mountains and the desert when I had spare time. I made it down to the Grand Canyon a few times. One of my favourites was Dead Horse Point. Lake Powell, like Paul said, is stunning. I used to fly into Salt Lake, drive South on I15 to Spanish Fork, and pick up I6 to Price - a beautiful drive. Utah is an amazing state to visit. I'd love to get back there one day, but my health is not great these days, so probably a long shot. At least I have great memories!

"Panini" is plural, a Panino is a type of Italian bread roll. "A panini" is either a spelling mistake or the seller just wanted an Italian sounding word for whatever they wanted to sell. Happens all over the word, "it means whatever I want it to mean" on menues!!!

As a veteran i agree with people being trained to handle weapons to prevent accidents in the home and in defense of yourselves. I was trained no collateral damage and every round is a kill shot. No rounds are wasted.

Paul, you weren't prepared! You forgot your Yankum rope! I figured you and Shawn would come in talking about how those boards need an LS upgrade. I am amazed at how often people in small towns say there is nothing to do. That's because people think they need to be entertained as opposed to entertaining themselves. Very cool. Just missed you guys what is already six years ago. My wife and I were finally getting to get away on our own and headed to Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming when she passed away quite suddenly. I need to get out of northeast Ohio and move to Utah. I've been there 5-6 times and LOVED it. I remember doing Peek-a-Boo slot canyon and another one right next to it. My ex wife and I did a rappelling tour in Costa Rica on our honeymoon. We rapped down a stranger tree and a waterfall. It was amazing.

A panini is a pressed sandwich, Italian in nature, smooshed and heated in a panini press which is like a big square waffle maker. The sandwich is often made on 'designer' bread, like focaccia or ciabatta. Depending on the ingredients used by the cook, they're very good!

Oh wow this is by far one of the best videos the Fab Rats team has put together! All of our favorites are going on this tour of the local places you can visit. All of these tours and slot canyons etc are friends of the Cox family or family members. Sean, Hunter, and Paul and a 4 year old did repelling too. When I visited Southern Utah I went to Roam, did the rappelling and had a great time. Brycen was our guide and showed us some awesome stuff. Then had lunch at Archies, zoomed over to Fabrats for some merch and finished out the day at Bryce Canyon. What a fun day that was.
