I hope i was able to provide some useful information to the new Z32 buyer. Ive bought my fair share of bad/scrappable z's that this video could have assisted me on.
zspec that makes MANY oem, oem+ reproductions that are fantastic replacements for the z at a fraction of the cost.

Blaster Z produces rubber and seals for the z32 chassis and is the only vendor for the seals unless you can find new old stock OEM

I just done my heater core pipe at the back of the motor yesterday. It was a pain but very rewarding once done.

I've yet to take that on myself. Whenever something back there is needing attention, first thing I do is pull the engine😂 Props to you🔥

I bought a z and later found out it has “frame rust” on the passenger side should I look for a new shell or just send it?

you can restore that shell if its not too rusted out, even if it has big holes you can restore it. But it will depend on how much you care and want to spend

Id fix it personally. When I got into these I was a little careless on parting them out but luckily it was only 3-4. Since I've realized how simple it really is to repair the panels etc correctly its just a matter of will. They're already 30 years old and are going to keep dwindling so I say we slow that number down🔥

nice vid, you can also apply all this information to any other Nissan car, 240s, r32s, etc. They all have the same exact issues

Such a shame! Just another step or 2 and they could have prevented how common it is :(

I used to want one, until rally cars went on sale in the USA. However, I keep thinking about the 300ZXTT because it was a huge influence in my life. In May 1998, I read a Sport Compact Car issue that explained how turbos work and what a mass air sensor is. I also saw what an R34 GT-R was. Could someone buy injectors from an EFI performance company, so they can leave the wiring alone, but have ethanol resistant injectors? When the "25 Year Rule" was discussed, I said "Guys, if you always wanted a 300ZXTT, maybe you can get a great used Z32 Fairlady TT. The 1998 and later version had a few improvements over the 300ZXTT and earlier Z32 Fairlady TT." I do not know much about JDM auctions. A few years ago, I like many other people thought it would be the one way some Americans could afford a MKIV Supra TT, Mazda RX7TT, and a few of the other desirable 90s cars. Some guys discuss the downsides of buying a 1996. It is the only OBDII version. It also had no variable timing sprockets. Some avoid them because their local smog laws require testing of OBDII but not OBDI or non OBD cars. I live where the is no smog testing. Due to that, I considered OBDII an upside, that way I don't need odd diagnostic tools.

I'm glad someone can find the upside in a 96 atleast! Its definitely good for a stock application. Just gets a bit tricky when going to modify. You won't regret purchasing a TTZ🙂

@@NedacSnosrap Have you ever talked into anyone in the community that had a Z32 Fairlady TT, especially the very late ones?
