People hating on Ichiran should realize that for first timers in Japan, it's just really unique and fun. Sure, there is better ramen but it's the experience of Ichiran people love. Plus, for non-Japanese speaking people it's less stressful to not have to deal with servers face to face. The privacy of the booths are also great for lone travelers, people who are shy about not using chopsticks correctly, or just want privacy when they eat. Also remember that Ichiran is probably better than the ramen they have at home (US, Canada, Europe..), so it can only go UP from there in Japan! :)
Love this comment. So many Ichiran haters out there. They have a awesome concept and are always consistent with taste. They are also conveniently located everywhere. Of course there are better ramen shops out there but like you said it can be intimidating for non Japanese people. Thank you again for speaking on this.

I am so loving your content! My husband and I love traveling to Japan ~ taking notes of all your food stop visits since we are planning to be there early next year. Can't wait! last time we were in Japan was 10/2019 before the pandemic hit. Who knew?! crazy times, right?
