@@Pengu_VR The mid exhaust is only opened at higher RPM to allow less back pressure on the turbo and achieve the 300 rated HP. It will sound similar though for sure, maybe a bit louder at the top end (compared to stock Yaris).
MG wins on sound with those awesome pops and crackles but that quad tip on the Fujitsubo system looked tits. Although spitting flames (#1) is always cool.
@@Pete292323and these sounds echo through the exhaust system. regardless of where they come from they make up the sound profile of the car and it's not appealing in the least. Plus the way BMWs and MBZ are designed you can't rev them at idle freely without the limiter stopping it.
Best exhaust for pure sound, disregarding performance, would be split unequal length headers into a true dual exhaust. One header covering two cylinders, and going into the left exhaust pipe, and the other just one cylinder going into the right. Twin turbo, one for each header+exhaust pipe. You'd get an awesome deep rumble sound that way. performance. Would sound like a V-Twin. 👍
Number 1 from MAXX PERFORMANCE is just StraightPipe, no Muffler and probably not even a OPF/Cat cuz flames, with OPF you'll never see flames... :( sound good but too loud, in my Opinion the nicest sounding Exhaust was the Mufflers from HKS, combine that with a better downpipe and 200cell cat or equivalent and a upgrade turbocharger, adjust fueltable and air etc in the ecu to better take advantage of the better turbo and there you have a nice sounding even mor powerful Yaris GR. Put some nice wheels on like *Rotiform* or Worx, wrap it in some nice colour of your liking or if you have more then enough money repaint it, these upgrade will not be cheap on top of a €37K car, making it mor like €45k probably buuuut it will be so much better, if possible even bring down the suspension 3cm it will give the car an even more aggressive look but I dont know if thats possible with the buildin suspension, does it have threads? cuz the feature with making the suspension stiffer and softer is super good and should not be switched for lowering the car, maybe modify it? dont know bout that thought...
its just ideas, car itself is good enough and HKS Mufflers and Wheels would be enough anyway if one gets it in the right colour to begin with ^^ lets say €37k the car, 1500€ the wheels and 2200€ the HKS Turbo Muffler, around €41K for a super nice GR that anyone would be jealous of!
sounds like a geo metro lol. people used to straight pipe those little 3 bangers and they sound like a v6 without the V lol. or a baby straight 6 (makes sense)

Le bruit et quand même nettement plus sympa qu'à l'origine mais ça restera quand même bien un 3 cylindres, ce qui n est pas flatteur, et surtout on perd la garantie, dommage même si c'est une Toyota d une bonne réputation de fiabilité...
