@@AviationFederation I’d like to take friends and familiy from Arizona to Florida and the Bahamas. I know they say 90% of the time you’ll fly alone, but I wouldn’t be buying it to be more efficient at work. It’s only to avoid commercial.

They are all good airplanes whatever you chose or whatever your mission is. I have a -8 and a-7 and love both of them. I consider my RV-8 my solo-airplane with the occasional passenger. BTW you can see it at 04:14

The RV 9 is my preference. It’s more stable than the 6,7, & 8, but is nonaerobatic. And while it’s a bit slower at lower altitudes, the airspeed difference diminishes as you gain altitude, assuming even it’s equipped with the same engine (an o-235 RV 9 won’t ).

thanks for an answer that had absolutely NOTHING to do with my question. did you even bother to READ the question or is comprehenion your maine issue? i am curious about the airplane vans came out with a year or 2 ago as a new bush plane high wing tail dragger. please don't answer again if you don't know anything about vans aircraft. i live in salem and saw the airplane while it was being tested.

The RV15 is still in testing. They made some changes but It's almost done. Personally, i don't want to be the first in line to buy the kit because there will always be some teething problems in the first few airplanes.

Those prices are crazy 😂😂😂 . The reported prices on this video correspond ONLY to the kit price. The engine is about USD 65,000 more + USD 15,000 for instruments and even more etc, the cost without assembly work hours is about USD 120,000 and it can be much much more.

Those are kit prices of course. Not pre-built, and not including avionics, engine, or propeller (all the expensive stuff) .

It is about 120K for my RV8. The RV10 and RV14 will be in the range of 300K. You can say they are the premium models in the Vans aircraft kits.
