When doing contacts, you only need to do 90%-95% of the field. Harvest contacts crop after the required amount you will get money for. Extra crop from suger beets/potatoes will generally cover the lease cost, same for baling contacts, which you can mow outside of field, generating extra bales.
The fiat is a mint tractor that if you play the game right stays relevant the entire time, it is capable of doing a ton of tasks very well. its just slow in transit, doesnt matter when the tool only lets it go 12kmh anyway
I really LOVE the multi to single player way of getting the money I need. I haven’t flipped any of my fields yet, but still making a butt load of money now that I have the money to get the equipment I needed from this. The video was a lot of help.👍🏼

The fiat is not such a bad tractor..It has its advantages..its slow but powerfull for the price. It's the cheapest tractor in the game, around 60 000..Its cheap for a 150 horsepower tractor. Use it for field work, not on the street.. Plowing, cultivating, sowing
don't forget in nr 2 to speed up the time when prices are still rising. when it slows down till it stops quickly go to normal speed and you get more when you sell. instead of selling for the prices you see. it takes not long time when speeding up and gives way more money.
I just got the game because it's free for Xbox game pass. Spent 10+ hours farming before I seen this. I did the money cheat and honestly I don't think it takes away from the game. Even with the 10 mill I still put the time to do almost everything myself. Thanks for the tips.
While I wait on my crops growing I check for other fields that are ready to harvest. I buy the field, harvest the crop and sell the fruit. I then sell the field. You don't lose money on selling the field. You can do this everytime while waiting on your own fields to grow and make up to £100k each field you buy and sell.
I got solar panel mod and I start out buying cheap land put 3-4 of the biggest ones they r $150,000 a piece then they pay out $810 each that $3240 every hour so I speed the clock to 120. I do contracts to make a little extra but when get back to $1,250,000 I pay off my debt! Haven't got much farther yet but i enjoyed the video looking forward to trying out the last one I like to buy biggest and all the land store my crops and make $$$ off of live stock or SOLAR FARMS LOL
Yeah you can also take on harvesting contracts, cancel it once you've loaded up and sell the proceeds but they might as well make "Liquor Store Stick Up Simulator" then.....

Complete private contracts, particularly, harvesting, spraying and fertilizing, borrow equipment if contracts are worthwhile. Harvest contracts can be extremely profitable. Cheating via exploits, glitches, or mods is just being lazy and requires no skill. Management is an art, the science of farming is not a grind if you are experienced.
epriiih that doesn’t need a video, just play the long game. Which is fun. I have a few saves that are only to build the farm profit and work with the given equipment, upgrade as you can and make a great farm. The others are fun to see how fast you can build a major farm with many secondary spots that have equipment for those areas which you use for the areas needs. Animals are fun too. It isn’t all about the money it’s about building a successful farm business normally starting with a set money amount and build it up even when I normally sell the sign about two to three days after installation.
I’m now using the map he is in and I love it because the other map was soo hilly and I hated it plus on the one he’s using the store is nice and close to the farm :)
The problem is that you get basically nothing out of bought fields cuz they are not fertilized etc. and the price for corn, wheat, potatoes... are superlow Atleast if you are playing the game on dificult if you dont-you are playing the wrong game xd Just go for animals, easylongtime investment
True. Some people just want to get money and play however or just mess around. This is for them. Farming the right way and being more realistic is what the game is really meant for, you are correct.
We all play the game diffrently...i prefer earning the money...but if someone wanna cheat in singleplayer..to be able to buy everything..then do that..
Why cheat to get money the aim of the game is to earn money to get more and better machines and to pay bills as well. This just makes the game boring in my opinion.
I like to take on fertilizing contracts and do them with the starting fertilizer equipment (I don't remember what it's called but it's the one that sits on the back and spreads solid fertilizer). It's actually a really good fertilizer. It spreads 24m, can be driven quite fast and is frugal on the amount it spreads. Even the largest fields only take 10-15 minutes to do and can pay out as high as $18,000. Two or three of those can net a cool $36,000 to $50,000. Edit: The fertilizer in question is the Kuhn Axis 40.2 M-EMC-W. It's the smallest one in the store.

Played the game for a day ,then watched this video-restarted a new game and bought a harvester, header, semi and trailer and started doing harvesting contracts and flipping fields...such a nice way to start a game. Awesome video, thanks for posting it!!!
I just found this game on PS4 and am playing it with my two little boys. We've got about an hour to play each day, so alas, I'd rather cheat in the quick cash and let them have the fun of buying new toys, driving the machines and working the land, while I create my own farm and build it from scratch; to each their own - Thanks for the advice Dj.
Thanks for the video.. never thought of buying land, harvesting and then selling the land. This has made the game fun. I was really getting bored with how long it took to make money. Didn’t like the small amount you would make on contracts.
A lot of these were just exploiting the game in unfair/unfun ways. And it is better to buy than lease for long term you would know that if you actually played the game for more than 30 minutes. And I would keep ranting but I need to go feed my FS19 horses with oats that I harvested with my paid off combine
yeah iv got 2 s780s one leased one bought,im almost at the flip over point of when the leased is more than the bought one, but iv made 1 really big field in 8 and 11 but keep speanding it else where rather than buying a new combine as its still making far more than costing
the only fields you can "flip" and make it like real life. Are the grass fields. As many times most older folk have land with 6-15 acres of grass lands that they lease out to smaller bale farmers. Lease out 25-100 acre land plots to larger farms who use that land for crops or baling. So the "flipping" of grass fields is more realistic than the flipping of larger fields for crops. As those might not pay to cultivate, sow, and sell to buy and harvest again later.
I will lease if I'm not using something for very long, but I will buy if I will keep using it. For example, I HATE harvesting root crops, but some are needed for pigs. So, I bought a field that had potatoes on it, leased the items needed, then brought them back when I was done. I don't plan on harvesting root crops very often, so leasing that was the best option in my opinion.
I’ve made tons of money with soybeans and cotton. I use it to buy more land and connect the fields, then make even more money from those crops. I own several equipment now and have them all on the massive field doing different things. I can harvest, plow/cultivate, and seed all at once. Set the workers, adjust the speed so they don’t run into each other and it’s done in no time.
A trick I use is to take a harvesting contract, and right at 99% completion, I cancel the contract and I still obtain the crop. I don't know if he covered this because I briskly watched this video, but that's what I do
You can also sell off the buildings you own, if you start on new farmer apart from the farmhouse, cause they are usually only decorative items and serve no purpose 😁
@@MrCatseyes01 I used it on PS4 and if I am right, it is also on XBOX and ofcourse PC. In the main menu, go to mod hub and then search "government subsidy" and then download the mod and it will be the "miscellaneous" category in the shop and place few of them on your farm.

You mentioned to buy a field and harvest. However, you can do a couple better on that... First, buy a good fertilizer that can cover a field fast - worth the investment. Watch for contracts constantly that want you to fertilize and take those jobs. You'll make good money on that - and later when you buy that feed to harvest its crop, the crop will be that much better because of the fertilizer that somebody else paid you to fertilize. Too, when you're on the land, harvest its lumber and grass if you have the equipment - its all free money if you have the tools.
I like to use in game features that gives the most money for the time invested. Such as chopping down trees and sell, or riding horses and then sell them for 50k. But I also use the buying a field-harvest-sell method. Quick easy free money!
The Fiat has 150 bhp but the fendt favourit 510c only has 110bhp, so the Fiat has more power than the fendts, I would personally use the fiat for fieldwork, where top speed is irrelevant
If you do contracts, you do not need to flip the land. Harvest an entire field, you will give about 80% of crops to fulfill the contract, the rest is yours to keep. If you leash equipment, you can use very same truck to bring the crops to your silo or sell them. Don't leave them inside leashed equipment though or you will lose them. Potato field that pays 54k for contract have about 40k worth of potatoes on it also, that you will be able to just sell.
The fiat has 110kw that’s strong so it may be slow but very powerful, it’s very easy to climb up hills, and carry large trailers. So it’s a Good choice to not sell, it doesn’t sell or cost much, making it absolutely pointless to sell, and way better to buy
best way i know how to reap rewards is buy as much land as possible and amalgamate the fields 1 field of prized crops that is large the more money it makes vs small fields of diversified crops , lease verses buy lease works for small lease holds, buy if you are going to expand into 1 base farm.. the more land you have with removed boundary assets the better crop rotation you get and the less issues with combines and large tractors.. cartage of grains and root crops road trains are your best friend

Good video!! I like to just plant soybeans! Soybeans is a cash crop and I collect enough to sell a lot at once. Then start to branch off into other crops, maybe switching from soybeans and canola!
Michael E I did that in 17 and still do when i play that and 19.. Soybeans have always been a good cash crop you can get a big amount of $$$$$ off the field of Soybeans

Government subsidy signs I can’t remember if they are in 19 I ain’t played it for awhile but if they are use em in 22 and 19 haha speed up ur time and sleep place like 50 signs
My way to make money is sell all equipment and get government subsidy mod and place an absolute ton in the map and the green just rolls in every game hour
