Fine for those not really cold British winters. Zero and below require more serious thickness. Even the Belstaff trialmaster which I use is only ok down to ~5 degrees Celsius (unless you put multiple layers underneath)
I’m so fed up with the cold. I live almost in Canada lol. So it’s not gonna be warm here until mid June or later this year. I guess I have to drop 2-3k on cold weather gear cause this 2 month riding season is horse shit.
Revit Shade: I like it. And a great price. Merlin: anything by them. 6:01 Bike alert - very nice, indeed. Belstaff: I have to admit it's nice. I like the idea of the Knox mesh job under something else, only it is too tight under the arms. That is not necessary to keep armour in place. I'll stick with my Furygan Titan.
I ride all year in a t shirt without my linings as I use a warm and safe heated base layer and now have the warn&safe heated trousers. As a kit it is amazing gives u lots of options with clothing
Colour refers to only one and colourway can mean a jacket that might be brown and green for example with pink down the arms for example. Maybe that, just a guess.
To be fair i think none of them are real winter jackets only goretex seems to help for some reason in temps below 5 degrees plus the jacket needs to be long for the back.
Boots are a big problem for me I cant find a boot that i can get me feet into .All of the boots are far to narrow .Please could you give me some suggestions. The problem that i have is that is that i have wide feet and cant get them past my ankles . Please Please help .
Hi Dave. You might want to consider something that is more on the shorter side, the opening can be extended quite wide when laces are loosen up. Here are some suggestions: www.urbanrider.co.uk/tcx-dartwood-wp-boots-black.html www.urbanrider.co.uk/john-doe-rambler-boots-black.html www.urbanrider.co.uk/john-doe-iron-v-2-0-boots-black.html www.urbanrider.co.uk/john-doe-overland-boot-black.html -Iza
Hi Jeremy, Sadly over trousers is not something that we are doing at the moment but we have great range of jeans etc which can be found here:www.urbanrider.co.uk/trousers.html?p=2 . - Iza
Hi Nick, They are the UGLYBROS FEATHERBED-K, you can find them here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/uglybros-featherbed-k-trousers-black.html . Hope this helps - Iza
The warrior jacket does not not come with any rents, but that's probably due to its very competitive price (£80) so most human beans can buy it outright. Charlie Vent On My Chest x
Hi Elizabeth! For ladies my winter recommendations would be: 1 - www.urbanrider.co.uk/revit-livingstone-womens-jacket-black.html 2 - www.urbanrider.co.uk/tucano-urbano-urbana-5g-ladies-jacket-black.html 3 - www.urbanrider.co.uk/merlin-buxton-ii-womens-jacket-black.html 4 - www.urbanrider.co.uk/revit-shade-h2o-womens-jacket-blue.html Hope this helps! - Iza :)
Thanks for this helpful video. I'm a new rider that is searching for some cold weather gear. I live in the US in Florida so 90% of my riding has been in warmer weather. The coldest it typically gets in my area is in the 30-40 F. Would the Revit Shade or the Merlin Expedition be a good candidate for this weather, or would you recommend something else that would be better? Thanks.
Hi, They are both great jackets. However the expedition jacket has the option of a removable liner which makes it more usable thought out the year. Hope this helps - Iza
No you don’t want either of those or any waterproof or water resistant jacket for florida. You want a mesh jacket with no water proofing so you get maximum airflow to cool you off
Great video as usual, I'm following you guys for a while and live opposite your shop in Parsons Green, however I've noticed yourself and a your office colleague's have svelte figures to put it politely, I'm 5ft 7 with a 46/7 inch chest, how will these types of jackets look on a larger framed man, and do they ride up your back or do they have a means of clipping onto the pants you happen to be using???
Hi neighbour! It all depends on the jacket and you as an individual. Most or products have a really detailed size guide that we suggest our customers to have a closer look when deciding on an item, but as you are local why not just visit our shop and try some jackets on? :) Hope to see you soon - Iza
I have the Knox urbrane pro 2 but.....I wear the ladies one because they didn't make any in my size I'm a large in ladies um....ladies one slightly different as it has more coverage on the chest as the male one too open I ain't got big pects and I don't want to look like a stripper lol
