He literally call you MF in your first day il LA shortly after the funeral of your mum…I saw that coming but I never imagined that he kill your mother with Big Smoke after being paid by Ballas!
@@Rieky22Actually, he was. Ryder's VA quitting was just a myth, and he said that he did every single line R* asked him to say. Therefore, this was probably planned all along.
I think at the start of SA, we thought Smoke just thought CJ was an intruder or Ballas and he was there guarding the house, thats why SA is a great game to replay because you go back to those first missions and realize all the hints like that one that we were all blind too at first
I always figured Ryder would be a valuable ally in the game, because he was so crazy. Guy robbed the US military and then he's buddying up with cops? I don't buy it. Just one of many weird, unsatisfying elements of San Andreas' story in my opinion.
Ryder only betrayed GSF because of money and Tenpenny and because mc eiht had a dispute with rockstar so they killed off his caracher like with burt reynolds avery carrington in lcs
@@jeuse5518 ye pier 69 has no cinematic cutscene and it reuses old dialugue for Ryder like the mission never existed same with phono opportunity also Ryder doesn't get mentioned during green sabre like he wasn't there
I did remember from another video saying Ryder actually will not betray us. But there's an issue with the game studio and with Ryder Voice Actor. Ryder voice actor quit before finishing creating the game. So they need to find some solutions to kill Ryder character in the game. so they make Ryder betray us to eliminate the Character. They even use same dialogue. "cant stop me" and "im genius" because ryder voice actor already gone
For Ryde: Real Life Reason: MC Eiht got A Dispute to Rockstar Game About Royalty so His character got rewrittens. Lore Reason: Ryder Were An Addict and Big Smoke Seeing this as an Oppoturnity to turned him into one of his Ally so Smoke Manipulating him with some Sherm to keep him on his side.
For Vice City, at the very beginning of the game, when Tommy jumps into Ken's car after the shoot out, but before th shoot out, look who's flying the helicopter. It's Lance.
I don't mean to be that guy but how did people not know big smoke was gonna flip? Gta does it in every game it seems like and right away I remember thinking, smoke can't be trusted lol they make it pretty obvious
I have never understood the defense of Ryder angle. He talks trash to CJ the entire game. Every single Ryder mission has him belittling CJ at some point in the dialogue. His dialogue towards CJ isn't out of love for gsf it's because he wants CJ to get back out of the picture as soon as possible. Ryder was a useful idiot for Smoke to use from the start and he got caught up in having some semblance of "power" immediately, just like Smoke. It was obvious that both had betrayed CJ from the start
I don't think you're gonna expect your friend to just simply greet you with a friendly "Hey, I'm so glad you're back, even after you ran away to another state 5 years ago like a coward after you let your brother die" gesture. Believe it or not, CJ and Ryder actually had the most realistic relationship of any character CJ had interacted with.
@@flaimthrowerzatwes19 I agree. Two friends who grew up since childhood and like to snark at each other, not to mention CJ having someone who tries to challenge his courage just makes his reception much more balanced instead of having everyone in the game praise him as if he's some deity for doing rather mundane tasks. CJ and Ryder definitely had the most complex relationship of the entire game.
@@o.y.t2409 Romans death fits more than Kate's death roman was nikos.cousin his brother his Family Kate was just a girl who Niko didn't.even date she wasn't even part of the family why kill Kate? Kill roman
I think the revenge ending can be just as sad when you think of Niko's mental state, during the wedding for the first time he genuinely looked happy for the first time in the entire game, he finally saw a way out, a future and a way to genuinely move on from his past, only to have it stripped from him in the blink of an eye without warning, further proving him correct that anyone who gets close to him dies, and probably leading him to believe he's not meant to ever be happy
Have you ever played GTA 4? Imo it's the best gta amongst all of them, I just finished gta 4 recently after 5. And my opinios changed instantly. GTA 4 is extremely underrated.@@Blacc_yoshi
