My man SCIZ!!! Biting is lame but also a good tutorial, but definitely self buff after 😂 but a total reappropriation and theft of a steeze is definitely whack AF. Stay in a sketchbook until you come up with your own steeze, plz. Dissing and Toy cross outs is harsh. Everyone sucked their first few times, heck!, their first year or years!! GetUp and StayUp kids. Biting is kind of an outdated concept when it comes to letter style because there are only a hand full of ways to do a letter. Whether it be a tag or a throw up, you can only do so much with it. Graffiti is reaching a point where you actually need to learn other people's letters to be any good. But you should also attempt to make it your own and put a unique twist on it.

2. Graffiti artists don’t hate street artists. That hate is some toy shit perpetuated by teens and pre teens who have no financial responsibility and can’t see beyond their own limitations and think everything that they don’t do is whack. 2. Burning shit up and making it hot… don’t matter. All graffiti brings heat whether it’s whack or not. 3. Monument tagging… disagree with this as well. When people from my city hit the police “killed in action” memorial nobody cared. It’s all about what the memorial is.

1. I don’t think biting is actually a controversial thing that you shouldn’t do. Nobody is original these days, including those throwie styles you mentioned. It doesn’t matter where you get your base style from and how you develop it or how similar it is to other people’s. All that matters is who bombs the hardest and who is up more, can control and line control etc.

The very first bit with Above is a clip from a really old video on his channel 'ubuv'. The vertical clip was one I found on instagram. I did all the subtitling for that clip though and graphics, so you won't see the clip subtitled like that anywhere else

My man I’m sorry but these videos come across as extremely toy from the lingo to the hand styles. No disrespect but if people want to learn what graffiti is all about they need to learn from somebody whos from a city with clean trains and a real graff culture. This whole “learning online” thing is just toys learning from toys. It’s worse than 12ozprophet in 06

Tagging graves I kind of get but cult and war monuments? Why should we respect symbols of power? Why should we respect the symbols they erect to keep us in line? Why should we respect those who mostly willingly went and fought in unjust wars to uphold company and state interests? If this is actually code for artists we need to read more damn books and leave the respectability politics behind.
