Phantom I did a video on the best decks for cardistry and handling falls into this greater realm so I don't think I will do a separate vid but the decks in that video are judged based in their handling.
dont wanna be rude but your fans really arnt great at all and thats on you, not the decks. I own every single deck that you showed here and i have no problem faning any of them even though some of them are litterally years...
This video just recently popped up in my recommendations even though it's pretty dated now. I had a similar experience with the somewhat recently released "Howlin' Jacks" decks "Toast'D" and "Frost'D". I got the "Toast'D" deck because I thought the art\design was cool and would look excellent in fans and spreads, and then the deck turned out to be super clumpy. Then I got the "Frost'D" deck thinking maybe it would be better, but it was actually worse, which was a bummer because it's another great back design for fanning, etc. It's too bad; the decks deserved better stock. I have done card maintenance, it's a video called "Top 5 ways to make playing cards last longer". As for gimmicks, honestly don't use very many, but if I feel a video would benefit from them I will do that! A deck collection video will be up sometime soon. Thanks so much for the comment!
Tragic Royalty is the worst I've used. When I first got it, it would fan into literally four or five clumps, but it's gotten a little better over time.
Christopher beltran You don't know anything about magic, when card tricks came in people didn't use bicycle cards, they used bee cards! Bicycle cards were never intended to use as magic because they were made differently from others! Bicycle had a harder card stock and a lighter glue tamper, But since people started doing magic, bicycle decided to make a series of other cards especially for magic! You dumbshit, go learn more about magic before you talk dumbfuck!
I'm surprised at the Ace Fultons. I see you have the Ivory versions. Have you tried the cambric finish which is the same finish on the bee deck that is in your top ten. You may like them better.
lewis young then again when people talk about handling they usually are only talking about the way the cards spread. Good job on recommending things he may have not known
I hear ya. Not every deck is created equally. There are so many variables. I find that decks I love the handling on sometimes change depending on the humidity of my environment or how soily my hands are. Hand conditioning is something i try to think about before i handle my cards. Cards that are uneven can sometimes be fixed by edgeing them with emery board. Be careful, if you use the emery board too much or in the wrong way you can permanently damage the cards. Obviously fanning powder can correct certain things as well.

Mikoto I would kindly ask you to watch any one of my other videos. Nearly all of them involve me doing fans. If you still think this after you watch a few videos then we might have different definitions of fans. The fan demonstrations in this video were done to show the small discrepancies in the quality of the cards.
You're lucky you haven't used Encarded Standard, Mantecore's, Tenebre Nero/Zucca and Bowl-O-Rama's, nightmarish handling... also top five most artistic decks?
Cool Box Those aren't bicycle cards, its the company, but its not the same type! When cards are made they have different glue tampers and card stock, regular bicycle cards kinda suck too for cardistry! Those cards are usually made for poker because they are more stiff and don't ware as easily! But in my preference i use bee cards, because those are the real cards for magic!
Listen all bicycle handle so good and u cant fan well that much so thats why ur saying that there so bad becuase ur bad at handling card and listen only all plastic cards cant fan ._.
I think all the decks are good , specially bicycle I have them and they fan really well...not like u....I think u should make video on top cards not worst.....
