God of War - "Hey, we know you're doing pretty good fighting this boss character, but since it's more important to make the game look cinematic than it is to give you freedom of choice, we've decided that the only way we'll let you beat this boss is if you hit the exact keys WE tell you to. So be a good little trained monkey and do what we tell you. Oh, and because we think you're too stupid to figure things out on your own, we're going to make sure to put highlights on everything you can interact with, and tell you exactly what buttons to press. So just turn off your brain and let us lead you by the hand." Tomb Raider - "You know how in the original games, you had to figure out what you could grab onto? Well, forget that, we made sure to paint every ledge you can grab with a highlight color so you can't miss them. Oh, but in the process we also made actually getting to those ledges more confusing. And you know how the camera in the original games tried to stay behind Lara if there was enough room? Well screw that! Now the camera just kind of moves around on its own. We did make sure that it will NEVER stay where you put it though. Oh and it's also just as useless in tight spaces as the original."

When did players get too stupid to remember the controls, or figure out what can interacted with? There were whole generations of games that gave the player no help at all, and they're fondly remembered. You play a game today and besides the fact that it's usually 50% cutscenes, it tells you what to do every step of the way. Give it another decade and all the FPS game will put signs over the enemy NPCs saying "SHOOT HERE!" I started playing the Simpsons game, but gave up in disgust when it literally told you where to climb, where to stand, when to switch characters, what to shoot at, etc.

@@lurkerrekrul This just means that you got older. They say all of that causes those games where made for kids. They don't have game senses that you acquired over the years. Simple as that man Edit And yes, kids of today are much more dumb then kids of yesterday.

Tekken isn't good on PSP. I played T5 and T6 a looot, but because of missing R2 and L2 buttons it's impossible to make good link combos (for King)

the warriors forever has a place in my heart... i dont own a psp or playstation but i been playing it on ios psp emulator. i have an xbox one but found myself bored with every single modern game so i dont even touch the thing anymore
