My collection is almost entirely party games and sad/themes that make you mildly concerned games, they're my two favorite genres. This War of Mine, The Grizzled, New Bedford, Glass Road... and then also like, and Secret Hitler and Dark Moon and Werewords. Maybe it's why I like Actualol so much.
I like magic maze, but every time I bring it to the table I need to start on the first levels because people doesn't know how to play and it gets old :(
I've only just recently come across your channel and I have to say it's one of the best for board games. However it's sad to say that board gaming channels just aren't very popular, though I hope that changes one day (especially for you).
With Detective (21) I've heard of this game before, but is the timed aspect domineering? I honestly do not like timed games that much and prefer games where you reach the end objective in your own time.
Sorry if I explained it badly, but Detective is not a timed game. Thematically there is limited "time" or rounds to complete the case, but it is not played in real time. If you want to know more, I have a full review of Detective on the channel.
@@actualol Thanks! Then I will definitely try it. Congrats btw on getting so far on your patreon! Hopefully, the trend continues and you can keep making videos :)
I am currently selling my rare copy of the 2016 Kickstarter edition of The Pursuit Of Happiness, on the BoardGameGeek market, for UK based buyers: boardgamegeek.com/geekmarket/product/2001156
I've literally gotten a better than perfect score before, it's very possible to win, just also extremely difficult and there's a lot of chance too. It *is* a game. Games are *all* art. It's just more art than usual.
If you would've included Secret Hitler in your top 50 I would've closed the video and unsubbed. That has to be the worst game I have ever played. There are so many things wrong with it (all play-wise, not referring to the topic/name) I couldn't believe that someone decided to actually buy it.
