My mom had a job interview on the 86th floor of the first tower the day 9/11 happened. My baby sitter made her stay home (she was a nurse with double shifts) and told her she can reschedule another day. I didn’t become a orphan thanks to her.

Flying is very, very safe compared to other types of travel. 911 wasn't demolished by a plane. That's not possible. I never woke up that early, and i never watched the news either, but i did both that morning minutes before it was shown live on CNN. Either i knew it was going to happen, or my spirit guide woke me up. 😮

My friends uncle, my friend and his girlfriens and I all avoided tragedy the same way. We all missed our transportation. My friends Uncle missed the train from CT on 9/11/2001 and that saved him. My friend and his girl avoid tragedy in Paris because the taxi they were in showed up late. They never got the the concert as the shooting had already started. I was supposed to go to Jacksonville in 2018 for the Madden tournament but at first decided not to go. Last second i changed my mine, but missed ths flight by 15 minutes prompting me to go home. Then i saw the tragedy. Safe to say it's eerie that sometimes being late can save your life
I avoided bombing, because I had sudden strike of laziness. I was leaving friends place and even said to them Im going to the big mall next to them. But when I started to make my way, I started to talk myself out of it - oh man, I need milk and flour, maybe I should go to a smaller store closer to home, its less crowded and I wont need to carry my heavy bags as long. Hopped on a train instead, it left the station 3 minutes before the bomb went off. 7 people died (including the bomber), many hurt. I would’ve been there. Also, bombings just don’t happen in Finland, this was very unexpected.

US presidents post-WW2. Not all heads of state, and not at all times, just US presidents in a specific timeframe. No reason for these restrictions other than "we need them to get a weird statistical outcome." If you search any pool of data and put arbitrary restrictions to cut off a specific segment, you can find loads of meaningless coincidences.

There was a coincidence that occurred via the tv show Frasier and its co-creator David Angel and his wife. In the show, Frasier gets a call from a lady saying that she will be on American Airlines flight 11. Four and a half years later that was the same flight David, and his wife were on when it struck the twin tower. Another strange connection to that day (before it had happened) was the fact that, in real time, Seattle had declared September 11 to be Frasier Crane day.

I’m just intrigued as to who would spend the time and energy to do that as the psalms are at the end of the King James Bible so they would’ve had to go through the entire Bible counting every 46th word to discover that. Firstly - That story about Anthony Hopkins truly gives you, or at least me myself; a true feeling of coincidences being more than just coincidence. Second - #32 flat out makes me feel incredibly stronger about the magic of the #3. If only it had been 33 and not 32 it would've ensured me even further! I think its more of by that age, most of those celebrities lived ‘hard lives’, ( different substances/drug abuse, alchoholism, etc) that they seek a bigger high and sadly overdose or their depression gets so bad they kill themselves.

40 wasn't a coincidence. It was a planned publicity stunt. Pretty cool, though. As for personal coincidences, my Dad's side of the family like to joke that getting hit by a car runs in the family. My father, myself, my nephew, my brother, and my cousin were all hit by cars at one point in our lives. Every one of us survived.

My grandfather died in WWI and is buried in the Presidio Military Cemetery overlooking San Francisco Bay. He was only 26 and his baby girl, my Mom, had just recently been born. My great-great- grandfather fought on the Union side in the Iowa Infantry as a medic in the Civil War. I had ancestors who fought in the American Revolution. Shame on Donald Trump and J. D. Vance saying Walz had "stolen valor". From a rich man who dodged the draft during Vietnam by claiming bone spurs.

Ummm, you guys should learn what the word "battleship" means. It's a term for a specific type of warship, in general it's the biggest thing afloat with guns except for aircraft carriers. When you load a couple of popguns on an ocean liner, you get what they called an "armed merchant cruiser" or maybe even an "auxiliary cruiser" or as the British called them "Q-ships" (particularly if their identity and guns were hidden). Other than that, great story about the Battle of the Carmanias - never heard of that one.

I don't think 42% as compared to a 10% supposed 'average' is all that weird tbh. (the left handed presidents.) It's simply a bit of a statistical anomaly over an incredibly small sample size. Anyone who has watched a supposedly legal roulette wheel in a casino throw up 30+ reds or blacks in a row knows far more about incredibly unlikely statistical outcomes than a 6/14 happening rather than the expected 1 or 2 out of 14.
