not just that, it shows how quickly skilled players can be overwhelmed as soon as a significant switch happens. obviously the game is stacked against them, but its still cool to see that understanding of the mechanics is a large part of skill, but when the game mechanics change it can be a struggle. speaking as a metal player

@@mfn1311 Yeah I saw some bronze players claiming that if gm mercy players started u2gm in bronze, instead of gold/plat, they wouldnt be able to win games as easily because your team sucks here, you cant get value out of dmg boost etc. In reality gm mercy's would just slaughter everyone themselves just like here lol

@@mfn1311 I mean, if you're good you don't even have to do it yourself. You're 1/5th of the equation. Just play more games and it'll all average out and you'll climb. Never really understood the mentality of "elo hell". Especially in lower ranks. If I had to say there was an elo hell, it would be in the top 10% of the playerbase. Because the jump from top 10% to top 1% requires far more work than the jump from bottom 90% to top 10%. And it's not always obvious what you need to work on to become that top 1% player.

@@Sac-chan agreed. Mercy is dependent on her team for mobility and ult charge from healing. Two mercy’s with 2.5x stats I think would be good

Lil advice Game knowledge identifying main if you are a main support why not play support that is your main so work on that first before you move onto anything, second 9:47 ‘coms’ you see how you made it to the point on the zen that was good “positioning”if you did that and you call out and came up with a plan with your team, you all could’ve jumped in and eliminated him, mechanics using your cool downs, calling out the enemy cool downs, coms, a plan, and good positioning are mechanics that can take you very far you don’t always need to work on your aim in the FPS shooter

tank synergies were really fun on certain maps. classic rein zarya on kings row is still fun to play. but tbh ow2 is better off without 2 tanks. i don't want double shield again, IT WAS MISERABLE

That would take such a long time to do because OW isnt just a simple game where you can train your aim and be good like val or CS. Youve gotta take into account CD management (youre own, your teams, and the enemies), and youve gotta take into account how faster a bronze person does specific actions. People love to talk about positioning and aim when it comes to low ranked players but most dont realize that another big reason they're in bronze is because they take sooooo long to do a specific action or to make a decision. Many years ago when I was still diamond and I played my first masters game, I was SHOCKED at how fast the pace of the game was. I couldnt keep up. I didnt even play my main and I told my team that I didnt belong there. Instead I went Zen and just discorded whoever my team told me to discord. I had the mechanics, and I had the positioning and the aim but what I didnt have was making decisions much faster than I normally did. It took a long time for me to get used to the speed at which the game moves. Now that I've reached GM, when I play QP with my actual bronze and silver friends and even a couple diamond friends, the game moves much slower. Its not even like they have bad aim because they dont. They just take so much time making certain decisions. Thats something thats really really hard to train. You cant speed up someones thought process. The furthest a bronze player can be taken, especially if they've been playing OW for at least a year or 2, is probably plat/diamond.

​@@erickim1739It's funny, you make the very valid point of explaining why good aim and positioning can only take you so far in OW, why game knowledge and understanding is vital and how fast decision make the difference in the highest ranks, just to then diminish high level CS and Valorant to "having good aim".

@@erickim1739 Its a progression, you're reply suggests that they would go from bronze to masters and that is not what I am suggesting. Coach a bronze into silver by honing a set of skills, the gold, then into plat ect. It may take a long time but I think the content would be worth it and it would show the world that YOU CAN DO IT. You dont have to think its a good idea, but it is. And I think Jay could make a series just out of the auditioning phase to select the Bronze to adopt. Game of Thrones was complicated but they did it and they almost got canceled because someone didn't like the idea NOW GOT is the GOAT of TV series. If I as a shitty GM5 can coach someone into diamond, JAY can coach someone into Masters. I work full time too. Jay is a content creator, so here it is. If Jay thinks its too hard well, fine dont try but I think it could turn into something really good. He could even set it up so that if he does do it, the bronze player gets a New PC and Jay gets 1 gifted sub from each of his audience members. I am not the on that works for Jays content team but I think if people think outside of the box, it could be a huge hit.
