Personally, I prefer the regular screen protector. The matte screen protector can make your screen a bit grainy.

Does the screen protector cause undue pressure between the display and keyboard? Will this protect the anti reflective coating on retina models ?

The screen protector doesn’t cause any pressure between the display and keyboard. As far as the reflection issue, I suggest getting anti-glare screen protector for the best results.

Thank you Hernán, I personally haven't encountered that issue since it's only a silicone cover. Also I don't close my laptop very often, regardless I can't imagine any issue arising from the silicone keyboard cover.

case is good but your laptop will be overheating because of that... more heat = less life for mac's battery and more throttling. so i think it is better to use case only outdors. thanks for the vid! like!

Interesting you mentioned this, I noticed it gets overheated last week but I'm not sure if the case is causing this or me using the computer for a long period of time. Although the case has openings for the cooling.

@@FeaturedTech yes, that's because of the case indeed. Remember 2017-2018 macbook pro overheating issue, now they fixed it on the 16" 2019 Macbook pro. But again, with this better performance 16" 2020 comes also with heat issue on the margin.. it is when you put on a plastic hard case on it.

Any tip for cleanning the fingerprints on this case? I have the mosiso case for my macbook and is a pain in the a**.. I have tried cleaning with water and even with alcohol (using a microfiber cloth) but the fingerprints are not erased and I think it was worse ..

Hi Victor, I personally use the GhostBlanket by UPPERCASE. It works well eliminating fingerprints and use it on all my devices not just my MacBook. I added the link to my description.

The space grey finish can come off of Macbooks with years of usage. But if you purchase the silver Macbook this won't happen.

Hi Crispaul, you’re not the first one to mention this to me (thanks for sharing). Currently my MacBook is a bit warm underneath, I’m thinking it may have to do with the keyboard cover? I’m going to remove it for a couple of days and see if there’s a difference.

Buy a beautiful three thousand dollar machine with sleek aluminum industrial design and then completely cover it up with cheap ugly plastic and silicone. Makes sense.
