Congrats on your 50th. Alwayz wanted to stay at Contemporary, we've only stayed at Pop which is our favorite, especially since they've renovated the rooms and is so nostalgic!

Brooke Simpson I went two years ago and wouldn’t go back! The money issues they had when building are very obvious but some of the rides were very enjoyable like Haunted Manor and Pirates! But the park itself really was lacking Disney magic and not to mention Walt Disney Studios. 🙄

Unless you’ve already gotten tickets, don’t hold out for any being available for the Olympics. I know gymnastics is already sold out :(

A Disney Cruise would be the perfect way to visit Alaska!

All four Disney cruise ships are incredible and each has it's own unique reason to sail on it. You can definitely book by itinerary and enjoy the ship that gets you there. Alaska on the Wonder, as one example, is incredible.

The bank balance would definitely not cope!

Paris is the quietest of all the parks so please consider it. It's a little pricier, but it pays fair wages and is unique for a Magic kingdom as it was designed primarily by Tony Baxter.

Yes! And you can't go wrong on any one of the four ships- they all have their own charm. There are Facebook groups for Disney Cruise knowledge sharing and every cruise has a Facebook group for that specific sailing. Cruisers arrange fun family and adult activities for people in the group to participate in. Join one of the general groups to get info on how to save money, plan your trip, and recommendations for your trip.

@Jeanee Shin Check out The Tim Tracker's videos on their trip to Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea. It's a 3 or 4-part video and they go over a LOT of the details. You really feel like you're on the trip along with them as you watch it.

@@julienlevesque5366 Park rides are similar to other Disney parks except for Tron. The park is dirty. There are trash bins everywhere but unfortunately, littering is ok there. The local visitors are quite rude especially in the queues. Not a good experience overall when we went there.

Also, we went on a budget. We didn’t eat at the most luxurious restaurants and stay at the most expensive hotels. We stayed in Port Orleans in a King room and we loved it. I would strongly recommend a Disney Honeymoon even if you can’t afford the biggest and most expensive things. We went on a budget and it was amazing.

Idk all i can imagine is seeing a reenacted version of the rose/jack door scene with mickey & minnie loses the Disney magic for me 😅 This is not how I would’ve imagined the titanic sequel

The Titanic hit an iceberg. The only ice you see on the Alaskan cruise is glacier day when you sail up a narrow fjord to the glacier. There is in the fjord, some large compared to you or me- but a grain of sand compared to an iceberg. It's an amazing experience. Besides, with Disney safety comes first.

Can't speak for Honk Kong but I went to Tokyo Disney in late November/early December (before the Holiday crowds) on a weekday and it was the best experience I've had at any Disney Park. Super short waits for everything and not a lot of crowds.

yeah i don't see point of doing a trip of italy with disney especially since there nothing really disney related about it. There are better guided tours with ''exclusive" experiences for less money.

I went 2 years ago to Disneyland Paris and I thought it was brilliant! The parks are so beautiful and the castle has a sleeping dragon in the dungeon! You can actually go see him! I've been to Disneyland and Disneyworld more times than I can count (and I'll keep going back) but I will also be going back to Disneyland Paris. It's magnificent!

I've been 3 times. It's great because it only just started turning a consistent profit so there's still loads of incentives and about half the rides are no more than a 35 minute normal wait. The weather can be unpredictable, but it is less humid and crowded than Florida. And don't forget the magic kingdom is 100% a Tony Baxter led creation.

Yes. And they are fresh water, not salt water, as well. We used the pool and won't go in cold water.

Disneyland Paris - C'est manifique!

Having been to both Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney I’d say that Disneyland Paris felt very underwhelming. It sort of paled in comparison to the other Disney parks... would have rather spent that day in Paris. Tokyo Disney on the other hand, sea in particular, was amazing. One of the best themed parks that I’ve been to. PLUS it’s only a subway ride to get from the city of Tokyo to Disney itself - no inconvenience whatsoever.

Francisco Munoz That is because when it was handed over to the group who owned it (which included Disney and other shareholder like me) it inherited massive debts from Disney. It has not had chance to grow as it might. Now that Disney bought it back they are heavily investing BILLIONS into DLP. Tokyo was massive from the start. The castle at DLP is beautiful. The Dragon underneath is spectacular. The versions of rides that are at other parks are on the whole better Han the US versions. The arcades at either side of MainStreet are unique and take you back in time as you walk down them. Lots was upgraded for the 25th. The cast members get paid Europe’s wages so that cost is higher. Once studios gets its 3 new lands it will be brilliant.. Hong Kong and Shanghai are not up to the standards of Tokyo but they got a mention.

Hothersalls The last time I went to Disneyland Paris was 14 years ago so I am pleased to read your comment. I am hoping to go this year (ideally for the Lion King and Jungle Festival if I can time it right).
