I wore a wig in the early 70’s.. They were fun. My elderly mom would wear just the curly piece in the back.. ( after she would put her own hair back in a small bun) That piece would make her look FANTASTIC!!! The most helpful part of the video to me was seeing the top pieces with your hair up and in a bun...,I was considering getting a medium top but since I saw the video, I have changed my mind to a long...also wish you would do a video like this one showing a regular and mono top with hair up so we can see the fullness at the back without your hair...tks so much for the help
I adore all your products, and am amazed at your dedication to your clients and potential clients! We are educated into caring for the wigs and hair-pieces, which really helps. We can watch these videos prior to purchase too, and because you show us your products being demonstrated, and knowing the correct way to put them on etc., and how each wig / hair piece looks on both of you, is wonderful, and no other company does this, as far as I am aware! Certainly, there is none in old Scotland! I have bought 7 wigs, as I am terrified about Brexit, affecting how we can deal with countries outwith the UK, and custom tax being extortionate. I am considering kidnapping you both, bringing you over here in order that we can also have the joy, of visiting your stores and having fun meeting! Ha-ha! ( I don't think that the Scottish rain would impress you both, and the summer sun can be evasive too! And add to that, the Scottish "Midgie" which drives us insane! ) Thankyou both, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me back my self respect, and allowing me to go out with confidence again! Thanks for this video. A long top is the one for me, but my colour choice is a challenge! Is it possible for me to send in some pieces of hair from different quarters of my head, along with some pictures. Like Rochelle, I have darker hair at the bottom back od my hrad. The front looks white to me, but it might be more off white. At the sides, when I have my hair up into a high pony, you see a vertical line with dark hair at back/side and white at the front/side - kind of like a little skunk :-))and, the back left side of my hair is darker than the back right side of my head. While the hair from my hairbrush looks grey/ash looks
Hi Wendy! Glad you found us! As you can imagine, it would be very costly to customize colors for every client around the world. What works best for everyone is to choose a piece first (like a long top), then choose the color we offer that you'd like to color your hair like. This is what I do - get my hair colored to match Creamy Toffe-R. It is natural for the back bottom of our hair to be darker and remember that when you wear a top piece, you will NOT see the top of your own hair - more the sides and ends to match to the top piece. I always take my piece and show my hairdresser the piece with the color I want and say "Please make my hair match this color'. That works best and keeps the price way down without need custom anything. We do not offer custom since this works so well for our clients around the world. Hope this helps! Rochelle
I have really good hair in the front so my bangs are great.. my question is.. can you place the Cristi... (or the new curly topper).. back a bit further on the head to give a bit more fullness and coverage in the crown?
Hi Suzy, I am going to trust you! Put it on where you'd like it, then take a mirror and slowly keep turning so you can see the sides and back. Look carefully or have someone take photos to make sure it looks natural the way you clipped it in further back. We made our top pieces to be clipped at the hairline, but an inch back may be okay and you could also hide the 'connection" area with a headband. xo Rochelle

I think it would be helpful if you went ahead and brushed, combed or styled the pieces that you were showing. You could always sell all of the demo pieces at a discount later. This way we would get a real idea of how they could look.

Hi Miss, depends how risky you are and how comfortable/experienced you are with heat. Our Hot Air Brush will NEVER hurt the fibers of the wig, as long as you don't just hold it in 1 place. I keep it moving. Using a steamer gets risky and we will NEVER guarantee our products when you use steam since we can't know how each client uses the steamer/heat. This is why we always say "NO HEAT on our wigs/pieces. We can never take a wig back that has had steam on it and we can easily tell... If you do choose to try steam, never get the heat too close to the wig and keep the heat moving constantly! Every steamer has different temps, learn your steamer thoroughly. Test on the underneath bottom of a wig first - so if you damage your wig, it probably won't show. NEVER use heat on the front of a wig until you're very confident about how to use your steamer on the fibers. You could very well damage the front and then the wig is trash! Hope that helps! xo Ro

do you make clip in hair extensions in a set. In a mousy medium brown with grey streaks all over ? I always find hair pieces for white grey, silver grey and salt and pepper with black and white grey. nothing for medium / mousy brown and fine white grey streaks that are blended together.
Hi Sophie, our business model at Godiva's Secret is about ease and convenience for our clients; this is why we do not offer hair extensions in a set because for many clients, it's not easy or convenient. If you do want that, I suggest you find it in human hair and have a hair dresser dye it to match your hair color. Do you have curly toppers. Not as curly as ethnic curls but more like Italian or Greek curls? My hair has been salt & pepper but is getting more gray & white now.

Love seeing these. I have a large head so am considering the toppers. The Cristi topper in Silver Stone was my fave. Revised my comment later when my own hair was longer:) I think I liked Cristi best because of the bangs and fullness on top. Do wish it was longer in the back:) Are there any rooted grey toppers?
I have mostly thinning in the very front where my bangs are so what do you suggest and I'm looking for something not too expensive. One more question. Can these be trimmed by myself?

I really like the quality of the hair you use but am unable to wear your toppers because there isn’t enough hair in the back of them. Some of us don’t have enough natural hair to blend with the topper in the back but don’t want to wear a full wig. Please please have a model topper for “us”.😊

hello, ladies, i have a question. i have a flat head in back and my hair is short, naturally curly. i never wear a hair-do, bc i don't like the way my hair lets my flat head appear. what do you suggest for me. i do not want my hair cut short. i like my hair the way it is, and i want it longer, but things happened that made it fall out. it is growing back now. anyway, what do you suggest for a person with a flat head? i don't mind a piece. i used to wear a piece every day, and my co-workers said i was the only white woman who wore a piece all the time! i don't mind wearing a wig, either, but just when i go places. what can i wear for "every day"? i wear my hair pulled up into a clip, which would be a ponytail if it were long.

How much is the Cristi in Silver Stone? My haircut is like the old "pageboy" but longer. It's higher in the back and angles down longer in the front. Would the shorter be too short? I just want a fuller top. My hair is so fine now it lays flat. 😩

its hard to find a hair topper that is close to greyish and blond. Can you recommend a color from your website? I have 90% grey and decided to go grey, so i did a few sessions with my hairdresser and i think i am almost to where i want to be with my color. But i have very very thin hair and need a hair topper with waves/curly. i do not see those types on your website.
Hi Susan, Rochelle here! We are working on sample of curly top pieces as I write this. Keep in mind, that any wig can easily be turned into a top piece. We have a tutorial all about it. The thing with colors is that we can be a billion different colors, but out pieces only come in so many. Hi Karen, Rochelle here and I have a great answer for you! We have a Mono Wavy Top in Silver Stone! We do not make our Wavy Top in Medium length - all you need is to trim it to the length you want.
