I couldn’t believe it wasn’t up there!

I know a few homeless ppl who'd commit petty crimes just so they could get locked up. Especially around now where I live, it's really cold and they'll die if they aren't indoors somewhere

From what I witness, I assume a bunch of people want to go to jail.

@@anikimfomana our U.S. DMV system is really awful. The people are quite often very grouchy and unfriendly, the service is extremely slow and unorganized. Just not a good place to have to go.

@@kathyguinto4585 sorry to know that, but I thought it was some of the academic work that made you miserable there, specifically those horrible math classes. I hope things are much better in your life right now.

The key is that the question started with "for you,". I had to replay for myself to see why jail wasn't there! School is a better fit, but they probably polled adults who were thinking in the present tense.

Not school because they survey adults. Not prison because most of the people they surveyed haven't been there.

@@johnanderson9765I agree, but most adults here in the US have been to school during their childhood years, teen years, and a few of their young adult years, and you don't have to actually experience being locked up in prison to know it's guaranteed to be a miserable experience. Just being stuck in your own house for days due to a long-lasting sickness or injury can make one feel temporarily incarcerated.

A lot of people are on good terms with their in-laws.
