Fun fact: I used to be downright _terrified_ of broccoli when I was a wee bab, claiming it "had toes" whatever that means. But Toopy (somehow) helped me get over that fear, and personally I'm happy about that. Broccoli doesn't really have that strong of a flavour honestly. Best kids show: Blues Clues. It was the start of my love of mysteries and ultimately my desire to be a prosecutor. I still watch Blues Clues on occasion and I still think it’s a good method for kids’ critical thinking.

Spanish is the second most prominent language spoken in America. I live in Florida and I can tell you some Spanish can really help. The Spanish conspiracy bit fell flat. Dora is an American show and teaching American children some Spanish is more helpful than not if you’d like your child to have an edge in the workforce, if anything. It’s also great development to have bilingual education.

I always hated fanboy and chum chum! Not to mention that the animation on that show makes every character design from the Addams Family look like a Pixar movie.

I grew up with Caillou. I remember being so annoyed as a child but I was so young that I couldn't figure out how to change the channel. I have sensory issues so his high pitched whining infuriated me. It was torture if my parents weren't around to help me with the remote lmao

I can agree that Toopy and Binnoo would make the entirety of Captain Jake and the Never Land Pirates look and feel like Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War by comparison. Funnily enough, both Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Bleach are on Hulu and Disney+.

I’m gonna say two things that’ll blow your mind. 1. As kids, my older brothers and I l o v e d Fanboy and Chum Chum with a passion. I don’t think we really realized what was going on a lot of the time, but it was something we loved to turn on when home alone or when our older sister was supposed to be babysitting us. I distinctly remember that our favorite episode was something about a giant bubblegum monster I think. I remember that my favorite character was the kid with the screwed up teeth. Was he the bad guy? I can’t remember. Definitely not touching the show again because I know it’d ruin the nostalgia for me, but I do have fond, if very vague, memories of it. 2. People actually, seriously, completely unironically, write fanfiction of the show. Don’t ask me how I found it; frankly, I couldn’t tell you. But it’s there and oh dear lord it’s real. I haven’t read any because I don’t want to have my brain melt from the sheer wtf of it, but it is there, should anybody like to look into it for science. Hell, I think it’s an official fandom on AO3, though I haven’t checked personally. So I guess somebody still likes the show, for whatever reason-

Best shows: Ni Hao, Kai Lan and Bob the Builder NHKL: Teaches Chinese, and it is very cute and subtle. BTB: Teaches teamwork, and is very cute and is one of the best Bri’ish kids shows ever.
