I think someone is trying to use your imoji to try and scam people in the comments. It shows your helmet logo but says 'telegram+' followed by a phone number and is asking people to text them.
I purchased a low miles 2004 Duc ST4S for just over $4k. Lots of proper upgrades. Then I serviced it, buying new tires, hoses, belts, etc. Almost like buying it twice. I’m 72 so it’s my last big flash. I love it. Perfect for an old guy.
I had a 2007 SV650, and it's so hard to recommend now that the FZ/MT-07 exists. Both of them need equal amounts of suspension work out of the box before they can shine but at least the Yamaha is lighter and has a more fun engine.
I bought my new bike a month ago, a vstrom dl1000 2006, with 24k miles, for $4,000.00 amazing bike, im loving every part of it!!, fully recommended. Or even de 650.
Suzuki SFV650/Gladius! You can find them newer and with lower miles than a gen 2 SV650. A 2005 SV650 was my first bike, and I just picked up a 2013 Gladius with only 6K miles for 2600 bucks! It’s definitely the best deal out there if you can find one. 👍
The R6 inflation is real. Mine got stolen this summer, and the insurance payout was more than what I brought the bike for new, in 2020. It was enough for me to buy a used Panigale.
Better off saving for a few more months and getting a budget of like 7k to 8k and you can get wayyyy more bike if you can muster a little more patience.
You DIDN'T provided proper or enough photos/videos of those particular Bike on which you were mentioning on this video. KINDLY provide enough videos clips or atleast their enough photos . Some Bike you didn't Even shown their present Model or designs. ( Instead you showed us its 1st Generation Model 🙄😮💨 ). eg. SUZUKI gxr600R, etc.etc. By the way... It was a Good video with their specifications on the screens. Thank you Yammie bro. 😊👍🏻
I bought my first bike a few months back, a k5 SV650 with the black frame with 9,500 miles on the clock for £1600. A literal couple of small dents around the tank and a new rear shock was needed for a clean MOT but yea. Bargain 😁
Take a look at triumph street/ speed triples early 2010's (11-15). They tease that $5k mark, but are stupid easy to work on, stupid fun, and stupid good to look at!
Hi yammie i am a beginner Rider i made my first "motorcycle" a put a 66cc 2 stroke engine on a bicycle and made it a "dirt bike"and i would like to share my story: I bought a motorized bicycle engine for 150 bucks and put it on a 300 dollar mountain bike it worked fine it was my baby it wasnt fast but it was loud because i removed the baffle from the exhaust it was FUN everyone looked at me when I was riding it and i had full gear Helmet gloves everything it was my daily but it was to good to be true i was riding it to school but I screwed up in the chain and the sprocket was off center the chain skiped the sproket hit the engine wall and it shatterd it than it the pieces hit the crankshaft and broke it the engine locked up and I draged my tire at 40 mph it wasnt fast but it feels fast because it was a deathtrap i bought a new crankshaft with more compression and put that one on the engine all by myself but a friend helped me make the gaskets it didnt run the engine had spark and fuel and compression but the damn thing wouldnt start and guess why the bigger crankshaft made the piston kiss the spark plug it was robbing spark so I went to the store bought a 1mm spacer put on the sparkplug and it fired right up after months trying . It ran for a week and broke down again :( now im just going to buy a 400cc ktm dirt bike in about 2 months or a suzuky im not sure wich one but it was a hell of a journey wish me luck Hey if you made it this far thanks for reading this is my story;)
you really need to print the model number so we can see it, not just your voice in your video. Had to rewind way too many times to write down what you said. Print the freaking model names
Also good to mention the Suzuki Gladius / SFV650. Just an uglier version of the SV650 that replaced it from 2009-2016, and you can find them easily under $5000 now.
hahhahhaaaa 8000 dollar bike, due to vehicle taxes here in Denmark, a ninja 400 new is about 11500 dollars. i paid around 19.000 dollars for my BMW S1000R and Aprilia Tuono V4RR each, and they were both used 4 years old when i got them
IMHO a Ducati, however cheap to purchase, is never an economical bike to own. Servicing and parts costs are substantially higher than a mid-size Japanese bike with better performance. Gold Wing an economical bike for a noobie??? Its heavy, thirsty, and keeping it serviced will cost you a fortune.... My choice as a rider of 35 plus years and owned dozens of bikes: Suzuki SV650 or Suzuki DL650 or Kawasaki KL/ER/Versys 650
Sorry champ 🏆 but I have my own policy 0-60 less then 2.6 seconds and has to be a liter bike and up because I never ride alone i always carry at least two or three angel's behind me, people don't see them but I do...sorry but my angels don't want to jump on HD I don't know why...but the Honda gold wing is classified as a semi truck 🚚 on two wheels
I must complain. It wasmt on your list. I got my 2018 Harley Fatbob for $5,000. That's what I tell myself. Just like eating an elephant. 1 bite at a time but 5k at a time. Everytime I get another 5k paid on it I can call it paid for. I know that's not how it works.
Dude, one request, for us newbies in motorcycles: when talking about different models, please make a short list written with them in the video description. Quite hard to get all the models names with your speed of speech... :)
You that there allways is a delay between filming, editing, upload and publication? At Yammie Noobs production quality and frequency of releases it will be weeks if not even month between "We want a video and actually seeing it... thats normal
The 1-800-yeetus this is so funny. My 67 y/o, non-caring-about-motorcycles mom was sitting next to me and asked me why I was laughing. Even having to explain the joke, icluding explaining what "yeet" is, she laughed, too. Great ad! I remember those Wilford Brimley diabetes commercials. Being a type 2 diabetic myself, I crack "diabeetus" joke on occasion. So worth it.
I nabbed a 07 Ninja 650r for only 2k last year. Other than slight cosmetic damage, it ran beautifully. I got unbelievably lucky with that find. The sellers were even great people. They called me two weeks after I bought it to see if I still liked my purchase and offered to buy it back in full if I didn't.
I found an clean '03 Dyna Wide Glide for $5k. I'm rapidly approaching honest geezerhood so the "relaxed" performance is fine for me. I like it a lot, it's reliable and has great support. Even my local dealer will still wrench it, unlike my '99 Road Star...
I bought a '98 (anniversary) FXDWG for a bit less several years ago. Evo Harleys are incredibly reliable and have become bargains over the last few years.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is my first bike and is under 4k with a 3 year warranty can't go wrong with it. It's very stable and a lot of fun and good to learn on.
I can’t find a RE Meteor that will leave the dealer/stealer under $5000. By the time they add shipping charges, preparation fee, taxes and licensing, my $5000 budget is blown. Seems to be a great little bike though.
@@jeffreyhurst9552 dang that sucks maybe look for a used one that’s in good condition, that’s the only thing I can think of😅. But if you have the chance definitely consider it for not just a first bike but a second bike perhaps. I love mine.
I wanted an R1 when I started, but my budget was like $3000. I ended up with a '92 Ducati Monster. Much lower HP than I wanted, but I found pretty quickly that my opinion of hp did not matter in the slightest. Crashed the duc and got a Yam fz6r after that because it was all I could afford. Kind of hated its style, but I ended up loving the bike overall. Crashed that one too. Finally put one foot into the big league with a 2007 Suzuki gsxr 750, which is wayyyyyy older than I wanted...by like a decade! Guess what....I f***ing love it. If you're buying a bike because you want to look cool, I can't help you...no one can. If you're buying a bike because, like many of us, you have a deep seated and unreasonable need for 2 wheels, pick anything in you're budget. I promise, I'm having just as much fun with 140hp as I was with 70.
This summer I wanted to get back to riding after 20 years. I was able to score a 1996 Sportster 1200 and a Harley Street 500. I traded my 90 Jeep YJ for the Sportster and three Firearms for the Street. God I never knew how much I missed riding.
Here in Belgium harleys are still looked upon as something "special" you won't find anything under 5000€ exept for a tired sportser, i'll stick with my triumph tiger 995 and MZ scorpion to have some fun on two wheels.
Yes! This is the video I NEEDED! I'm so interested in getting into this life, but I'm not rich, have a family to care for, and already have a pretty expensive car and I've never riden a motorcycle before so I just want to dip my toes into a good starter bike and see where it goes. Thank you!
Crikey second had bikes are going for more than new in Australia, if you can find a new one in stock, looks like the Great Reset is here, time to dust off the RE Bullet and learn to run it on home made bio-diesel before the Nuclear Subs leave port 😳
I like to ride long distance like Coast to Coast but couldn’t afford a 30 or 40 thousand dollars big touring bike so I bought a 2000 Honda Valkyrie interstate for $2000 with 5 thousand miles on it and now has 90,000 miles with no break downs and a lot of great Coast to Coast rides
Yammy there's a bike that I would love to see you review. It's the Damon Hypersport HS. I'm looking in to buying one just for commuting. PS this bike can change there ergos on the fly
for me, it ended up being getting a used 2001 Sportster with less than 10K miles on it for 3K$, working on it for 9 months, and putting anouther 3K+$ into it .... but i am a motorcycle tech grad 1988, who's grampa worked at H-D for 40+ years from the first big hire in the 1920s ... not everyone would pick a H-D knowing they could get 80Hp out of it on chump change, but i know what i am doing, and the Sportster Parts Are There...that's the thing....so what ever you do, Do Not try building a motorcycle that doesn't have the parts availability to back you up on it...
I bought my 2016 harley street 750 with 1400 miles completely untouched and un modified for 3k. is it the bike? nope... but for 3k in like new condition was worth it.
So if the 'Busa is the quintessential beginner bike, is the Turbo 'Busa the best 2nd bike? What about returning riders, maybe a Kawi H2? Asking for a friendly squid.
I got my 2017 ktm duke 390 for $3100 with 3000 miles and a dead battery. Had to replace the oil pressure switch after a year of owning it but that's it other than regular maintenance.
I know it's an old vid but as an engineer (fkn nerd) its ft*lbs not ft/lbs. Its a unit of energy (torque) ('44 ft*lbs = enough energy to move something 1 lb in weight, 44 ft).
Great job my hillbilly friend. I bought a 2007 Yamaha Vstar with less than 7000 miles on it. I love the bike. The only problem is at over 700 lbs it’s a beast to move for an old man like me. Looking for a lighter bike now. Anyone interested in buying her let me know.
The SV650 is the single most boring motorcycle I've ever ridden on the road. I'm over 70, been riding since 1964, and if this is your "best of " list for under 5K then I'm done here. Bye.
Lets be honest. You can't buy any bike for under $5000 unless you get a used smaller cc bike off marketplace. Msrp doesn't mean anything when you buy from a dealer. A $5k bike turns into a $7k bike after all the fees and thats without financing.
Most people don't have a clue as to the old retired actor who took up doing them medicaid/diabetes commercials that you're impersonating. 4:30 Wilford Brimley passed on Aug 1, 2020. Your mustache definitely matches his though😁🥸
This is great info, but just like what happens when srkcycles makes a motorcycle off Amazon video…. He buys it for 2000 and then a bunch of people inflate the market and then it’s 3200 in no time…. You guys make claims these are under 5k, then I check and the folks that are selling them and find them on your video they jack up the price because they’re yammie approved
My man you really don’t consider people that English is 2nd language. You speak very fast like I raping and you don’t put name tag. I couldn’t spell half of bikes. I keep repeating the video over and over. That’s so annoying to be honest. But still appreciate you for the information
I'm saving up for a 300-400cc bike fast enough to out run 99% of bikes here but slow enough so i can enjoy it with our bad roads and cheap and fuel efficient enough
