Killed craw and armory over a dozen times and never seen 1 pearl. Killed a midget and got a pearl shield. Killed an armored chemical and got a pearl shot gun. WTF!
I've killed crawmerax at least 200 times and only received pearl shields which obviously are disappointing compared to pearl weapons because who the hell cares about shields. You'd think after having the game be 11 years old they would up the drop rate.
BL3 is broke so I came back to BL1 and I agree they should up the drop rates and also they should add new legendary and pearl weapons I would even pay for it like a dlc
I feel like they have slightly upped the pearl rate. I’ve been doing a 5-10 craw kills and 2-3 armoury runs a night for a week. I’ve had an Avenger and two Tsunamis (one good one terrible) from the Armoury. And i’ve finally had a pearl from Craw. It was a pretty good Aries.
Pearls in Borderlands 1 were extremely rare but are very powerful in obtaining them. With the right amount of gears you can play this game feeling like a VH God.
The Torgue Undertaker needed to be on this list. On Roland with his mag extension skill and metal storm maxed out plus a Support Gunner Mod equals unending Barrage of Death to the point my FPS dropped so hard all i could see was smoke clouds for several minutes. Ah the memories.

I'm surprised they haven't done it yet. Something like Halo Anniversary would be really cool, especially if you could swap between classic and modern graphics.
They should remake all the games, but with a twist. Borderlands1: every weapon and shield from BO1 Pre-sequal: every weapon and shield from BO1 and BO:PS Borderlands2: every weapon and shield from BO1 BO:PS and BO3 Borderlands3 (when they make it): every weapon from every previous game.

Its funny you say this because i got a pearl sniper after pulling the old xbox out to recomplete bl1 and bl2... I was in crimson fastness, lv 48 soldier and i got a pearl sniper out of a chest with no dlc???
borderlands 1 will always be my all time favorite game, i really wish the other borderlands games would of kept the atmosphere and feeling from the first game, instead of making it a comedy, bot to mention i feel like all of the guns in the first game were perfect
honestly, we can be bias, but i truly do believe that, besides maybe the mainstream halo/cod/minecraft it truly is the greatest game of all time, just got wonderlands and its the best in the series since borderlands 2
@@RemingtonSteel I didn't play bl3, was probably grinding cod since my friends didn't care for borderlands, and wonderlands honestly when the dlc dropped and wasn't even real content I just stopped playing and haven't played since, garbage, base game was really fun but worst dlc in the series
Borderlands two has a problem where the pearls are for the most part good there are just other guns that are overpowered as shit (grog nozzle, unkempt harold)
@aDg 2k18 The ones that aren't very good to me are the bearcat and that pistol that shoots shots in random directions that just home in on people, pretty worthless. The others are good, it's just there are guns that are simply overpowered as fuck that put them to shame (sandhawk, grog nozzle, unkempt Harold)
@aDg 2k18 I'm trusting that they learned from borderlands two, keep in mind how long they've been working on borderlands 3. This game is going to be giant. Four starting characters? Multiple vaults and worlds? I'm sure they saw the pearl backlash and will definitely do pearls some justice in borderlands 3. As far as I am concerned, pearls are supposed to be the either A. Best all around weapons, or B. Have niche's that make them insane in certain situations and simply above average when regularly used.

I play on PS4. Yea and the Handsome collection seems to have really done well for them. I know a lot of people who bought it some never played BL before. I bought it for BL2 cause I didn't like the pre sequel really there was too many problems with it. I don't think it would cost them a lot to put out BL on the new consoles and I think a lot of people will buy it. I definitely would and know there's a lot of people hoping Gearbox does it.
Gabriel Svensson I don't have the money to get buy a pc right now. I had a gaming pc but it shit the bed. Nor do I like the windows operating system and there really isn't a good enough alternative right now. Linux is kk but still has problems.
Look at the wonderful BL1 Pearls! Shredding things to pieces! Borderlands 2 Pearls? Too rare for their pathetic, insignificant, and weak damage output (unless patched) and even less when you factor in health regeneration. If Pearls return in BL3, make them good. And add hybrid weapons too like Nemesis-Invader. That thing was my strongest gun until I found the Ogre.
i hope in borderlands 3 they have repeater and revolver pistols again, to open up a bunch more guns and each manufacterer can have a repeater and revolver...
Why are all the pearls In bl2 useless. I mean the sawbar, becca and maybe even the stalker are decent. But others pearls either have crap fire rates or just downright try to kill you. I mean aren't pearls meant to be better and far more rare than legendaries? Yet most legendaries are better versions of pearls. Baby maker is better than the avenger, and the Maggie is far more superior than the awful unforgiven. And the Nukem is way better than the Tunguska. Hopefully pearls are much better in bl3. And there should be a new element called quadrite which is 4 elements in one

@@VinylicPumaGamingI usually use the unkempt Harold because it has explosive effect even on low lvl 9 it can take on lvl 14 and 16 enemies but not very useful for lvl 40 but it is useful if you find a lvl 40 or 50 unkempt Harold
Seeing as how Gearbox put out a few new specialty legendaries, I wonder how the Bessie measures up to the Silent Night. Bessie has a 500% critical bonus, but the Silent Night has a 800% critical bonus.
The bessie is way better, I've used both while fighting craw, and bessie was generally way more reliable than Silent Night. Silent night and the other gearbox weapons are more useful for the weapon combining glitch.
@@quaiduncleson I have to agree with you there. The Bessie’s higher base damage scales with the 500% critical damage and it’s much easier to use with the ADS pinpoint accuracy effect.
Hi puma I just want to say man Eridian weapons in borderlands changed a lot they had had unlimited ammo and they reheated now they spend too much ammo in borderlands 3 make eridian weapons change to unlimited and PS I have one
I still remember my brother bragging to me like 10 years ago because he thought a pearl, he got the Thanatos too but at the time we had no idea it was a glitch
i just hope BL1 would be remade or patched with FOV slider. And i know, i could tweak ini's 'n shit, but it's too much work and it doesnt work that well.
Look up "Borderlands Config Editor" Works like a charm and is REALLY easy to use. You can bind the FOV key to the "walk forward" key and never have to worry about adjusting your FOV ever again!
I have played BL1 for hundreds of hundreds of hours with edited INI files for v-sync, fov, font size etc and i have NEVER had any problems with the game after i've edited the INI's. You must have fucked up the INI's if your game had problems after that. OR you're just shit at editing INI files LOL.
I am so fucking angry about pearls in bl1 right now. I had every single pearl farmed by myself a few years ago on pc. Then i lost my data with all my pearls when my pc died. I bought the game again on ps3 and farmed again for some time but only getting half of em. 1 week ago i started farming again and getting 7 pearls in those days - ya might think "dude thats great!" - Well it would be if not 4 of em would have been shields and the other 3 undertakers. Guess what pearls i care about the least? Yep, undertakers and shields. FUCK YOU GAME STOP TROLLING. All i want is a nemesis (the first pearl i ever got on pc). I dont even go for an invader nemesis cuz it wont spawn anyways.
I want to see what happened to new haven in borderlands 2 I don't know why but new haven was described as hell once Wilhelm had finished with it and Wilhelm is now dead (The basterd) I wish that sanctuary will carry its course into borderlands 3 By the way borderlands 1 was a great game but many glitches made it a bad Experience there were to many modded weapons and I like how it was controlled in borderlands 2 but I will love if I could one shot vercidous from hammerlock hunt ; )
Okay this is driving me nuts there are three different shades of yellow / orange rarity weapons on my copy of borderlands 1 for the Xbox 360 I've never come across the light blue pearlescent rarities but I am confused do you think you could make a video shining some light on this subject if need be I can tell you the names of these weapons and what color their names appear to be on the screen
It need actualy to show how S&S was way better than Bandit. Also if you wanna make Eridian guns, don't forget eridian shockgun (it can be spawn tought willowtree).
I'm not saying you have to right away, or at all. I saw your video on your father's unfortunate death. If you need to take any amount of time off, take the time off. I'm sorry for your loss. My own father is currently in the hospital, due to only 15% of his gallbladder. He's gotten through alot, but I'm extremely worried now & can only hope he lives to see the next day. I realize death and just being rushed to a hospital are two extremely different things, but the surgery can also lead to death. I don't mean to go on too long about my own problems, but it's honestly a concerning topic.
