I'm assuming it's not a coincidence that there's a "Frozen Fun" billboard in one of the shots during the segment on the "Walt was cryogenically frozen" myth.
There's a myth that the movie was made for the sole purpose of getting people to stop looking up this myth by giving a new definition to the search term, "Disney Frozen"
@@HistoryUnwound Which doesn't even make sense, seeing as how the only reason it's called "Frozen," and not "The Snow Queen," is because the underwhelming performance of "The Princess and the Frog" convinced Disney that boys don't want to see movies with words like 'princess' or 'queen' in the title.
How are you not to 1 million subs yet? You provide such great information along with amazing editing and overall outstanding videos! Been with this channel for a while now and I absolutely love it!!
I just found your channel. I like it. I Love Disneyland. I grew there. My Mom worked for the Disney Company in the late 70's to the mid-80's. And yes I'm your new subscriber
I went into Walt Disney's apartment when I went to Disneyland for the first time in 2017. I was part of the Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps tour. I couldn't stop smiling and I even teared up a bit when I went into the apartment. (And the people told us that we were the first group in a long time for that specific tour to be allowed in the apartment. So I felt even happier.) I even got a picture next to the light at the window!
This is such a relaxing and happy channel. the voice and music fits in perfect with disney. I love watching your videos. Thank you God for creating tpm vids! Carry on the amazing work xxx
I wouldn't doubt that story about the light turning off and on by itself is true and it really is Walt. He seemed like that kind of goofy, kid at heart person that would do that even after he's gone. lol it makes me smile
I like how I imagined the moment where Walt found a small mouse and gave him a nice little home in a cage. I never knew that’s what inspired Mickey Mouse.
I think walt Disney is still at his beautiful park maybe he just wants to see how it is doing remember that he loves that park and that's why he would like to keep his lamp on. please be respectful to others who have a different opinion then you have
@@sabrinaking7251 then maybe be respectful to people who really are deserving of the legend title long after they are gone. He created DL for sure. But this all loving sweet man he was NOT. You should read up on him Beyond the propaganda. My family has known theirs long before I was born. And Walt was an alcoholic, chain smoking, shrewd business man who would slap your baby across the face for a dollar...... look it up, it's easy to find the real history
Doing what he would have wanted most, "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day. There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, and tomorrow is just a dream away." If only he were still around to see his beautiful creation.
The four dislikes are four twelve year olds who think they are too cool and old for DisneyLand 😒😂😂😂😂 Edit: I’m not saying all twelve year olds don’t like Disney!!! I’m just joking 😂💞💞 Edit: I’m rewatching and found this comment! Woah!
As I am still doing a pretty strict quarantine (only doing online groceries, virtual doctors appointments, and working from home) this Channel brings me so much joy. Normally we go to Disney at least yearly, but haven’t been since 2019 due to covid. Thanks for keeping the magic alive
Great video. I love to hear Disney(land) history, secrets, and myths. Regarding the lamp in Walt’s suite above the fire dept on Main Street, I believe the story of the housekeeper witnessing the light not wanting to stay off. That was Walt himself letting her and everyone know that he wants it on. It should always be on for him. 😊
Yay ive been waiting for ever im so happy that u upload your videos always me laugh/smile keep doing what u do best TPM ( and will we ever get a fave reveal🤔
Just saying the story about the lamp when the cast member went back up she heard Walt saying “Remember I’m always here” and still till this day the lamp is still on
I heard a twist to the lamp myth. On the last time that the cast member went back up to turn it off, as they were leaving and it turned back on, they heard "I'm still here". The cast member bolted after hearing that
If i were to describe Disney's legacy, i'd say this: "We all have a place in our hearts for him. Heck, even though he is gone, he isn't gone completely..."
What's funny is he created DL and that gave him a legendary "nice" presence. Yet he was a hard drinking, chain smoking, shrewd business man, who few people enjoyed being around. He was actually a petty mean guy.
@@quintocreations5091 What's funny is that I made this comment when I was 12, and wasn't that smart. Hence the half-assed comment. So I guess my name lives up to that.
To all who come to disneyland ,welcome, here age who leaves for memories of past and here you may savor the challenge of the promise of the future. That was a little part of speech but yea. Rip walt
Hi TPM! I love your videos! I was wondering if you'd ever do a rankings list/secrets for parks outside of North America? It'd be cool to learn some more about overseas parks!
While I wholeheartedly agree that Walt wasn't frozen, I have to disagree with his daughter that he never heard of it. The man kept his finger on the pulse of technology. He loved the idea of progress and the future. Chances are he briefly researched Cryonics but dismissed it.
>builds world of tomorrow >builds Epcot (Experimental Project Community of Tomorrow) >Has his eye on every facet of modern technology >Daughter claims he didn't know about technology
I would also like to see such a video. A new look at the Spider-Man animatronic would be a good start. The Xavier School could be a ride similar to the Harry Potter one at Universal. They could even recycle the old Adventure Through Inner Space/Honey, I Shrunk the Kids into an Ant-Man and the Wasp attraction. A comic book-themed shop and maybe a shawarma restaurant would be nice, too. And those remote-pilot pods of the Sovereign in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”? Make that happen, Disney! In fact, an arcade with Marvel-themed games would be fun in general, and more so with those Sovereign piloting pods. Above all, I am hoping for a Star Tours-like attraction. The possibilities are practically endless! You could be in S.H.I.E.L.D’s hellicarrier (which can be on land, in the air, and underwater). You could visit Stark Tower, Wakanda, the Xavier School, the Mirror Dimension, Ego’s Planet, the Gamemaster, Asgard, the Sovereign Planet, the Gibborum Church complex, Alkali Lake, the Hellfire Club, Kamar-Taj, the underwater world of Namor, the dragon in K’un-Lun and the rainbow monster in GOTG2, Midland Circle, and all the multiverses of Doctor Strange. You could even go back in time with Wolverine, Captain Marvel, and Captain America & Bucky. Obviously, I’m pretty excited about it, lol.
This channel is one of my favourites! It always makes me want to go back to Disney world in Florida again! Love it so much! And I especially loved the fact that Walt’s statue has the ring that his wife bought for him engraved, so cute I cried a little bit (not gonna lie)
