My favorite is the dark saber, not just the mandalorian saber. The color itself is awesome because it represents an angry individual but not a hate filled individual (which is the main difference between a red saber and dark saber). I think the sith don’t like dark saber wielders because they couldn’t turn them as easily, since they were already corrupted but not in hateful way.

I read online saying that the yellow lightsabers represented the power of the sun, goodness, and hope for a brighter future. I also found out that the black kyber crystal that powers the darksaber is a unique crystal that can bond with anyone that it believes worthy of wielding it.

The Orange lightsaber is now canon as Jedi Fallen Order is canon. I would live to have either an Orange or purple lightsaber as not only are they rare but I like the lore around the Purple lightsaber and the game the Orange one came from.

White could have 2 meanings 1 it could mean a force user in neutral with the force, not siding with one or the other but just being purely one with the very force itself, puting them in a neutral state and position 2 it could symbolise a return from the darkside of the force, someone who's gone far into the dark side of the force and has managed to successfully return from it and drained their crystal afterwards

I would definitely use a purple lightsaber as I believe the most well rounded Jedi would use teachings from both the dark and the light side while ultimately remaining balanced in the force, it’s great aswell because it just so happens that Purple is my favourite colour.

Yea i love how much hype that content creators generated for Disney. They put so much effort into their videos, theory crafting, anticipating story lines etc. Then disney just walked to the bathroom and let out 3 big old turds. I thought rey and fin and kylo were badass characters and was super excited. I assumed rey was going to get a double sided light saber since she favored a staff in the first movie. Nope, no continuity, no story building, just nonsensical hot ass garbage. So mad.

I think it’s unnecessary to comment this but I’m just making sure ur recent video wasn’t about me but if it is but all I can do is show u the receipt …. Drunk3Po channel, video : “ The acylate episode 5 The episode is the sith “ I was writing fan fiction man , I’m sorry if u thought I was someone important cause I’m not but ur moderators are just gonna remove this anyway … oh well 😔 I don’t know the lure about the colors of light sabers , I’ll have to look at theory’s videos for that one but if u had everyone with a yellow light saber. To piggy back off ur idea off of daily this morning. I would have everyone with yellow light sabers that’s when the twins fight and have light sabers connected once they break apart that’s how u would get the red and blue coloring.” It might not be a clever or good idea to use but I was just trying to make the show seem better then it is. I always liked that whole idea of balance or mixes. In my head mine was always purple or yellow/orange. But I had once imagined a a maroon light saber. This was before the cannon so I imagined I killed sith and put a purple crystal in the sith lightsaber with both crystals. So it was like a reclaimed saber. But what's crazy is I imagined the main bad guy having a black saber before there was one. And it also was black with white light sounding it. It was not shaped like it was in the show but still it was so shocking that to me that it became a thing.

so this is no longer canon but in legends, it is said that it was made by the first Mandalorian Jedi. It turned black due to the Mandalorian's reliance on weaponry, and how he viewed it as such, rather than it being a tool as most Jedi use it. the jedis name is slipping my mind though

People have made an exact definiton of what you described the first lightsabers were. They are plasma swords that require a backpack to power it just like a lightsaber (they were aiming to create a real one and this was the closest they could get). I'd like a white one.

There is an alternate explanation for red that came from early on. Back during the time when Sith were a large order before Darth Revan, synesthetic crystals were mass manufactured, and that process only could create red ones.

It’s depressing seeing how the whole Disney sequel trilogy turned out! Hearing his hopeful voice when he said “do you think Luke will have his green saber in the last Jedi? I hope he does!” The innocence! He didn’t know... it’s just... Least the mandelorian is good. And it appears as though the guys who headed that show are being given the reigns to the rest of the IP. So I’ve got some hope. Keyword, some. That’s right it’s “Star Wars! Episode 69! “Some hope”” coming to theaters eventually!

White doesn't exactly mean being neutral, it just means choosing your own path of good like Ahsoka did, a clean slate so to be speak which makes sense as White Lightsabers can only be created from purified Red Crystals.

When I was a child my father made me a lightsaber from a flashlight, some thin white tubing and back then a cap from a 60ml syringe. I didn’t want to tell him I was disappointed because it wasn’t red, blue, or green (I grew up watching the original trilogy over and over) so to me those were the only colours a lightsaber should be. And I was thinking about this now that I have a child who loves StarWars. But I saw a video about Asoka’s lightsabers on a RU-vid video and got back to remembering lightsaber my dad made for me, and I wasn’t disappointed anymore because not knowing it I had one of the rarest lightsaber blades in the StarWars galaxy. I just didn’t know it at the time.

I would have Green or Purple. I would prioritize my Force abilities over my Lightsaber combat. I would also pull from the darkside/utilize Form VII. Mine would also probably be unstable like Kylo Ren's because I not only face personal conflict, but I'd imagine I'd naturally be conflicted utilizing the Darkside while being aligned with the Light.

question: how early were proto-sabers? because assuming vader immortal is canon (IDK) they must have been WAYYYYYYY old, because Lord Corvax's lightsword was "pre-republic" and it didn't have a power-pack.
