My grandmother used to work there and lives in Branson all the grandkids got free passes when we would go there. On time I went right when powder keg opened and wildfire was empty enough that after like my 10th walk around the guy asked me if I just wanted to stay in the seat. As a young kid Probably like 14 and I loved it I only had to get up if there was any more guests that would have gotten in the row I was in. I ended riding it over 40 times I want to say 47 Total in a row. Almost 20 to 30 times without even having to leave my seat. It's one of my favorite roller coasters I have ever been on. And to this day I thank that man that was one of my coolest experiences at any theme park ever. Also God powder keg scared me I was small and it threw me around so much I thought I was actually going to get flung out but I was with a much larger rider when I went on it
Silver Dollar City is a great, great park! I agree with your ratings here although my ride on Outlaw Run was thwarted by a shut down due to thunderstorms the day we were there and Fire In The Hole had massive lines because it was the new 2024 version and in a soft opening at the time. Of the 4 I was able to ride so far my rankings are 4) ThuNderaTion, 3) PowderKeg, 2) Wildfire, 1) Time Traveler. I will go back for Outlaw Run and have no doubt that it will end up at either 1 or 2 on my list.
Hey there CoasterDash! Not sure if you’ll see this, but I have a quick question for you. I’ve been to quite a few parks and I want to start counting credits, but I don’t know how. Do all rides count, for example frisbee rides, pirate ship rides, etc., or do only roller coasters count? And do rides where you’re still on a track but it’s not technically a roller coaster count (like haunted mansion at disneyland)? Love your content btw
Great review. I would change 1 and 2, but can live with your ranking as well. The reason Blazing Fury is so similar to Fire in the Hole is because Herschend Family Entertainment, the owners of SDC, built Fire in the Hole 2 years after they purchased what would become Dollywood. They later rebranded it to Blazing Fury. They are still the majority owner of Dollywood.
1: Grand Exposition has single bench cars, which neither Time Traveler or Outlaw Run can brag. 2: Fire in the hole is even better than a single bench coaster. I have no disagreements with your top four other than the fact that I THINK I'd prefer Time Traveler over Outlaw Run but please don't quote me on that. Thanks for posting this awesome video!
@@Paolo8772 nah the wildfire is one of those dangling feet but still in a car one's. You might be thinking of fire in the hole can't remember if it's wooden The other wooden coaster is thunderation its like a wooden train cart one. Is good but I haven't rode it in 15 years and it had the old wooden coaster beat down than. I can only imagine how much it would beat people up now. Still a good coaster, one of the first ones I ever rode in my life. I spent alot of summers at silver dollar city.
