Top 7 Sega Genesis games! 

Yes adventures of Batman and Robin. What a hidden gem. It's in my top Genesis game. I think it's a better gunstar heroes. Which is also a great game though.

Great list dude! As a self professed Nintendo guy the Genesis has been a cool library for me to check out and explore. Never even knew anyone who had one back in the day. Gunstar Heroes and Streets of Rage 2 have become favorites for me over the past few years. 🤙🏻🍻

Great to see another older gamers. I'm almost 55 and I have been gaming from the Atari 2600 and on.

as a kid I had to sell my genesis to get my dad to buy me a snes, he would not had allowed me to own both... hard time back then. and as an adult today, I still regret that. I mean, I had a great time with snes too, but genesis/megadrive was something amazing. I can see that "flashback" peeking in the corner in the end :) a piece of art!

Those cardboard box variants are hard to find or keep in good condition. It’s like you need to put in a box protector and keep cartridges out or use a flash cart to halt any additional wear and tear. Way too difficult for me to do a top 7 but your choices are solid and definitely in my top 20.

It makes my heart happy that you included Gunstar Heroes. Treasure doing what Treasure did best!

You have some excellent titles in your list. You can never go wrong with Castlevania as a top choice!

Wonderful top 7! (7?!) I love how you just left the shooters out until the deleted scenes! 😂 Yeah, some really solid shmups on Genesis/Mega Drive. I'm quite partial to many of them.. too many to list! 😅

I can't say that I personally agree with that list, but it IS a solid list. That's one of the great things about the Genesis library, there's room for a completely different list for every type of player. 👍

Nice to see you doing a top 7 video for the first time, I love these personally but I hate doing them myself in the sense its really hard for me to say what my top 5 or top 7 etc... is but this was great to see. I grew up with nintendo, so its always nice too see what people enjoyed on the Sega 😊😊 Earthworm Jim a classic and a game that does not get talked about enough imo, your spot on its a fun game but hard as well 😊😊 The adventures of batman and robin is a good one I tried it at a friends house last year he told me its an expensive game as well and it is hard as hell we were not able to get past the first stage 😅😅 but still a solid game 😊😊 Yes Contra hardcorps was good to see contra come to genesis and an awesome game indeed, you cant go wrong with contra games 😊😊 I never played gunstar heroes I know a lot of people in particular from the youtube community who enjoyed this particular game and based on what I have seen it looks awesome Sonic 2, its not cheap to have on your list, its a classic and when you think of Sega first thing that comes to mind is Sonic and rightly so 😊😊 Streets of Rage 2 is a game I played and loved from the graphics, to the stages, the characters and of course the iconic music one of the best in terms of video game music 😊😊 Csstlevania bloodline is great choice as well man 😊😊 This was an awesome list and video great stuff man 😊😊

Batman & Robin would've been more enjoyable if it weren't so bleeding difficult, but it remains a showpiece for the Genesis

Nice to see you popping your cherry We have a top Genesis List, Some great choices there, Sonic and streets of rage 2 would definitely be Near the top of mine, Funnily I've never played the Castlevania Which is something I have to rectify in the future, Nice one mate

Also my favorite console and my top list is very close to yours. I had purchased Contra and Bloodlines dirt cheap brand new in the early 2000's but never got around to playing them until this year. I've beaten both of them on all modes and both are instantly in my Genesis favorites. I like Contra a bit more because I like the challenge and it's packed with Content. Hard Corps is like 3x more content than Alien Wars on SNES. Gonna have to try that Batman title as it looks great and I like a challenge.

I never gave up my old Genesis games. People used to make fun of me. But I was like, so what the graphics are terrible compared to Xbox and PlayStation. It’s still fun to play. That was 1998-2012… fast forward to today… I still have my original games, I still play them, and they too are now going back and buying Genesis games. 😅 Most still have the clamshells and the manuals. They are all in good shape too.
