When contrast, saturation and sharpening is set to 0, then there is added contrast, saturation and sharpening. You have to turn them down to -3, -3 and -5 to have zero processing done in those departments. But even lightroom adds some sharpening as default to all raw images. Experiment at your own volition.
Setting you jpeg to neutral is fine, but that’s a personal preference. I - not being a professional - set my settings depending on the ‘mood’ I want whilst shooting. I don’t shoot raw for the A/m reason. I don’t need extreme processing.
2:30 When i put the A7C in Manual it shows information on-screen and not the image? I have used sony's for years but i can't figure out why it won't show the image only in the viewfinder. Any idea whats wrong?
Hi , if you move the flexible spot anywhere other than centre and assighn a key to focus standard, (the AF ON button) it dosnt return the box to the centre. (Ver 2.00 firmware ). Where as if I do the same on my A9ii it dose . Have missed something on the A7c or is it a bug ?
Hey Jared is there a way to quickly save and swap between Stills and Video with seperate image settings on the A7C? Everytime we switch from image to video it seems that the shutter, zebras, iso etc does not get saved and we'd have to re-do these settings again.
Nice video Sir. It is very informative. I just want to ask question. When I shoot on manual mode on my A7c, I notice that there is different image when i look to the LCD screen and when i took photos. In my LCD screen the image is clear but when I took the photo the output is dark. I hope you can help me. Thanks a lot

Had to stop watching your video. The video was out of focus and it felt like I was getting a headache. I’d have preferred you using another camera to record the video clearly. I just purchased the A7C. I’m new to Sony and the menus aren’t familiar to me. Also some of the features I want are called different things than Fuji. It will all work out. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
