SMU used to be really fun on 14 but now that they're in the P5 I think Florida Atlantic or North Texas would be my favorite choices now but you might have sold me on FIU. I just like those small programs from Texas or Florida with potential because of taking athletes locally to fill your roster
I always choose North Texas. Partly coz i went there, but the new jerseys are some of the best in college football. that jersey winning the national title after 5 year rebuild will be awesome.
@@littleweapon facts, they're just in a much better spot now than in 14 so I assume their grades for the school will be a lot higher. Plus it's fun taking a G5 to a P4 conference, but I probably still will check them out
@@Cristian-vm1bg I forgot they got new jerseys that's one more reason I forgot about! Trying to keep that in mind about which schools have more uniforms or newer ones
Tulane is gonna be interesting. Rivalry with LSU is hopefully still in the game, but they'll finally have their own stadium instead of the Superdome, and their newer jerseys are so clean.
Some of my favorite G5's: Louisiana Monroe - Only 9 winning seasons in 37 years, has never won a conference championship outright, has cool jerseys, and their campus looks pretty nice New Mexico - Haven't been to a bowl since 2016 and are in a pretty competitive Mountain West, cool jerseys and a solid stadium Marshall - historic team, agree with what you said FIU UAB - Obviously lost their program just a few years ago, have an awesome logo, jerseys, and stadium
ULM is a great place to start. In state recruiting is good, only major in state school you have to compete with is LSU. You are close to Texas, which is a recruiting hot bed. Alabama, Georgia and Florida aren't terribly far either. The last dynasty I played I started as their D-Coordinator. We kept winning, so they never fired the coach... I finally had to leave after several years. They were a force for the remainder of the dynasty. I can't wait.
@@calebandry1840 glad that someone finally agrees with me on ULM haha. Agree with all of that. Contending with LA Tech, Louisiana, and Tulane for the mid-3 stars will be tough, but I should be able to get a decent amount from the states you mentioned. I want to keep it reasonably realistic, so my goal is a 5-6 season plan to win the Sun Belt, a bowl or two, and then get a job like Wake Forest, Arizona State, or Vanderbilt. ULM just would never have the facilities to attract players to be a perennial top 25 team, or even a CFP contender.
South Carolina, Syracuse, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, CAL, Mississippi st, Georgia Tech, Colorado, Minnesota, South Florida, Arizona, Arizona st, etc there's a bunch of team's you can build up for goodness sake just don't waste your time playing with garbage team's like Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee St. Etc like come on man I don't think the rebuild is going to be easier than ppl think especially if you want to compete against the Alabama, Georgia, Miami, & Texas team's that make the 12 team playoffs. Trying to build JMU up gone take you 10 years to bring in 5 star recruit's at every position and then if you want to dominate another 10 years like Alabama in real life you only have 10 more years left in dynasty mode to play after that. Choose wisely
@@yousaku87got former Hawaii player under June Junes, Craig Stutzman, on staff. Too bad they don’t play Hawaii this year - would’ve been fun to watch. Go Bows!!!
Army was the top program from WW2 era and before. I’m pretty sure the 44 or 45 team still holds the record for average yards per play in a season it was something ridiculous like they averaged a first down per play
They were also ranked almost in the top 10 not many years ago too all service schools can be really good at times the problem is being good all the time
Just picked FIU the other day for mine. Got my coordinators all ready to go, non conference schedule set and ready to roll. Also plan to add Delaware and Missouri State to it right away with teambuilder since they join C-USA after this year (replace UMass and UConn as a result)
I think Liberty is a fun one with their current talent and how hard it’s going to be to build some of the smaller schools. Could group of current talent and can move to the ACC for an even tougher challenge.
I’m doing Utah State, because Utah is an interesting state. Also Utah is a raising program and byu had history, but besides Bobby Wagner and Jordan love Utah state and the NFL track record is not good
A couple of my friends and I thought we would do Army Navy and Air Force and we will put them all in their own conference. The recruiting was one of my worries going in but I know it will be so much fun!
Just one correction, JMU did end up getting a bowl game this past season following many actions, petitions, and simply not enough teams to fill out these bowls. They would end up playing Air Force in the Armed Forces bowl and losing 21-31.
Nc state is the best football team in the state. Last 5 years they have finished in the top 25 4 times. They start this year in the top 25 with a chance to go to the CFB playoff
UL-Lafayette and Miami (OH) were my go to dynasty teams in 14, but this year I think I’m gonna try out a team like Southern Miss. A team that honestly flys under the radar pretty much every year, along with the Brett Favre controversy about him and the school funneling money through some sorta charity they’d set up for underprivileged Mississippians. I think you could put on a spin on your dynasty that the NCAA punishes the school’s athletic program for being involved by limiting them to only bringing in 5 or 10 players on scholarship for the next 3 years or so. I don’t know just a funny little idea bc I honestly have hated Favre since the whole thing came out lol.
You made a mistake in the video because James Madison did go to a bowl game because the NCAA didn’t have enough eligible teams to fill out the bowl games
When i play with a military School I try my best to make it more difficult for me to get players. I try to fallow their regiments on who can get in. It's funny adds more challenge
I’m do one with a team from Texas cause I’m from Texas. But I’m not going to pick the big name schools like Longhorns A&M , Baylor Texas Tech and Houston probably will be a toss up.
Dude do your research before posting a Video!!! James Madison did play in a bowl game this past bowl season against Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl. 2:30 They got to play the game because a lot of FBS teams did not reach the 6 win limit to play in a bowl game.
I guess he just got bored of the series and decided to stop posting. He said he was going to post a new episode yesterday but he didn't. Just watch Mr hurricane and Octagonal instead if you are looking for more franchise
ULM has to be interesting 1 bowl appereance in their franchise history are you gonna be able to find success in Louisiana having to recruit against the rajun Cajuns and obviously LSU
Are you and like 8 buddies able to take over any school and do well as the coach and get new jobs at better schools if you do well? I know we did it in 14
I fully expected to hear about San Diego State. Last year was their first “down” season since 2009, and now have a new, young coach putting in an offense that should put up some points to go along with their history of dominant defenses.
My 4 dynasties to start will be (obviously) Florida State, adding Western Michigan, Liberty and UTEP. I've been on the W Mich train since 2008 or 2009. Love the possibility of playing in the snow. UTEP because my kids' grandfather lives there and they have awesome uniforms. Liberty because one of my boys went there. Again, great stadium, great uniforms and an excellent coach.
Until they give as stadium expansion, no one wants to play in that tiny azz Kennesaw State stadium. If they gave it to us, it would be the only way to go. Playing in front of an empty 9,500 seat stadium is not fun. Playing in front of a packed 9,500 seat stadium would not be fun. But imagine building that school up to an SEC champion with a packed 120,000 seat stadium over a 25-30 year career. Now THAT would be the ultimate. Doing that in the current version of the game and being 30 years down the road and still playing in front of 9,500 people is lame as hell.
I was thinking rebuild Ball State. They’re fairly new (49 years) to football compared to other programs. The last time they had a 10 win record was a decade ago in 2010. Lastly, I was thinking about rebuilding them myself but I think ima use Boise state instead.
What is going on today? All I hear for college football 25 is dynasty did everybody lost their mind road to glory was always the biggest mode. I haven’t heard anybody talk about anything about RTG That’s basically all I played when it was out.🤘🏾
@@bwilson21345 its definitely not the majority. The majority of CFB fans didn't even go to the schools they root for. But there are definitely those of us who attended G5 schools and are really proud fans of our teams.
