This latest episode of Armored Legends features Pilliger, a top 8 player of the last major western tourney, notably the first one to make it there with the uncommon "Water Strider" Build. Pilliger uses one of the most outplay heavy playstyles that looks fantastic in action!

Correction on 13:30 Masaru Yamamura is the main director of Armored Core 6, but was the lead game designer of Sekiro. Sekiro was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. So contrary to popular belief, Miyazaki is NOT the director for Armored Core 6. He was only involved with Armored Core 6 in the early stages of development. Then he passed things off to Yamamura to solely direct the rest of the game. I have to say this because Miyazaki can't take full credit when someone else deserves much more credit for Armored Core 6 's success.

Fantastic video. Super cool to see Pillager get the spotlight and also getting jump scared by the appearance of my own AC. I learned some neat quick boost tech and also that OWL is apparently heavier than my own Verril Tetra??? AND GOD, THE INSPIRATION IS SO SICK, I NEED TO FINISH SEKIRO SO BADLY!!

No way, your AC looks chonkier- You're right wut. I think it's because your AC has pretty light weapons. Man that is funky tho Honestly I haven't even played Sekiro yet

If the explosive thrower is anything like the Moonlight, another weapon that has a charge up animation on it's heavy attack, then it is partially based on your AC's orientation and partially based on where your reticle is at a fixed point during the animation. For the Moonlight, during the startup, you can change the trajectory to be 180 degrees behind you, and almost 160 degrees directly above you, by swinging the camera in softlock during the first second or so.

I feel that Crab knight is probably the better of the quad builds, but waterstrider, the true Lamm frame waterstrider, would be a close second. I do wonder if mixing the two would be viable. So you would basically have a Crab knight that has movement similar to waterstrider. Basically get rid of the super tanky whip machine and replace it with the Lamm waterstrider frame, then swap some parts to give it more durability yet still retain as much speed and mobility as possible. Could be good. Call it a Strider Knight

Really enjoyed pillagers tournament performance. It was an uphill fight for him I’m sure and with his strider movement I was so certain he was a veteran player.

My information on the patches aren't really good because I'm still playing the campaign, but one day I hope you can cover a medium weight ac (non tetra pod or tank legs) That's a build I main the entire campaign and it's gotten me pretty good and far

I don’t know about pvp builds but I have been able to easily beat the first 5 chapters with dual wielding burst assault rifles and two 10 pod missile launchers. Kinda wondering if that is very valid though.
