You don't have to be black to rock BHM shoes. You like the shoes and acknowledge the strides black people have taken. I do the same with Hispanic heritage month. I like the shoes and appreciate the culture and everything around it. Salute my brotha ✊🏾

Sneakers are sneakers. Do you listen to Hip Hop or rap? Black history IS American history. Wear what you like. Just like we eat and listen to what we like. I have a gang of Filipino friends and love Adobo, crispy pata etc. Don’t have an ounce of Filipino blood in my body.

Black history is American history, it’s only weird when you make it weird lol cop what you like… plus Halliburton had some custom Kobe’s in the LeBron South Beach colorway that could’ve easily made the list, he wore them in the IST Final game

I bought jordan 1 lows that are based on the Filipino flag, and I'm black. They look cool, and give nod. Win win. Black History is American History. With that being said, it wouldn't be weird if someone who isn't black wearing that colorway or any other colorway that gives nod to a culture. Weird hearing it the other way around...I also have white friends who wear negro league fitteds and put me up on game on the history. The "only black people should wear that" vibe isn't the move and I'm sure you get that.
