I'm somewhat new to collecting aircraft models. I had no idea people were hating on Gemini Jets. I have 6 Gemini Macs models and I've been so impressed with them!
Everything is known by comparison...especially the A350 from Gemini Jets and NG model clearly show the difference. The A380 from the same Gemini Hets and Aviation400 also shows the difference. From Gemini Jets, I would advise all Emirates aircraft and, except for the A380, as well as the 777 model, so far I have only this knowledge...
Appreciate some brands don’t make the planes you want. Checked out the entire NG range and while they are super there is not one jet or livery I want on my runway so sometimes you have to get what you can get the only exception is when I find a Boeing or Airbus with flaps down speed brakes up and reverse thrust engaged that I will be the first to slap it on the runway. Too video
gemini jets sucks the a320 and a321 the nose and cockpit looks horrible all deformed. the NG makes the best a320 and a321 nose and cockpit and even the 737 800 and 900 are really good gemini jets seems like they don't care if the molds are accurate or not because they know they are a old company and people are nuts for them I would say gemini jets is number 3 on the list
Phoenix 747s tend to have flat modelled wings, looking awkward with outboard engines near horizontal to the ground. So I’m very reluctant to buy another one from them.
Having watched quite a lot of yesterdays airlines videos, i think aeroclassics as well as dragon wings often gets wrongly downgraded, simply due to the fact that most collecters today a younger and new in this hobby, hence why the older jetliners/propliners they produce dont apeal to them as much.

@@JeffreyYS That's because they still produce 1/400 models, but most of them are booooring and not unique at all. DW made a lot of unique models and a lot of them were excellent aswell (some exceptions ofcourse).
I will never understand why people rate Dragonwings so low. Yes they feel cheaper because of the plastic parts, but does it matter how the model feels? How it looks is what's important. They have some excellent moulds which are still good for todays standard (747's, Tristars, DC-10, MD-80). Also some very unique ones like the 747 Space Shuttle carrier. They also come with a stand and geardoors. Not even mentioning you can get them for half the price of NG or Gemini. Same with Aeroclassics. They produce many aircraft types that no one else does and most of the moulds are excellent aswell. Just because they don't make many modern aircraft, means they are bad. I would rate Herpa far below Dragon and AC. 7:50 There are plenty of reasons to dislike Gemini by the way, it's definitely not just for the sake of hating.
i agree with you 100%. Many of the models i collect, mainly old sas planes, no one makes them in 1:400 except for AC. For the price Dragon wings is really good imo, especially the dc-10.
The jc wings had a bad first impression for me because my first model was an l1011 and it came in broken,though some parts were broken because of bad shipping but the paint chipping is from the factory
Yeah, every manufacturer has some bad models once in a while. Just try to find the best brad for the model. For example if you want a 738, get a ng models and if you want a 77W get a jc
The wheels are smaller than they look in the pictures lol. I got a gemini AA 777 300 and dang, those wheels are microscopic. The gear look a little flimsy to

Now when googeling this brand only a few pictures came up of models on a stand with out landing gear. Those are would be TOYS, not models. But idk if that's the brand u mean
1st:NG models, aviation400,jc wings. 2nd:gemini jets. 3rd:panda model 4th:dragon, Herpa,phoenix-😐🤮😖 because Phoenix make models with ugly cockpit windows : a330 neo,a350 and more planes.It's not original cockpit windows and more
The only comment I agreed with. I think NG, A400, JC are superb. JC the most bargain price, the other two best quality. Somehow I hate the color made by Phoenix and the printing was low resolution in my opinion. So you’re paying a high price but not getting a good quality model
