If you are in australia, forget everything he says and focus on getting traffic management course. I did that job for more than 2 years. Also it was my first job as well and it did paid my university fees and then the surplus amount. Although not sure about every state but in the views of SA, you can earn from 27 per hour. If overtime, expect around 40-60 hours per week. Same with weekends. In public holdiays, expect around 72 per hour. But one thing i must mention about this job. The companies prefers manual drivers. These companies also have small trucks so have your mr license ready. But if you can't drive manual vehicle, that would be a disadvantage
@@ikerila Just call the company. You can find them either by the job portals like seek (although do not approach them via seek, but look for the website and in that, look for contacts and you get the phone number). About license, from what i have experienced, international licenses are fine. But traffic controller companies do want you to be able to drive manual car (something that is not directly mentioned). If you have Light Truck license, well, you are on advantage
All the very best. The idea is to be resilient and don’t give hope. I once started as a student like you almost 7 years ago and have been a citizen for the last 3 years. Australia is home to me ❤
Some courses like Baritsa training you can do that in your home country as they are not mandatory and hopefully get some work experience too. But others like RSA, RSG, White card, Forklift etc must be completed in Australial.
Thanks for this really informative video. As I see online, most jobs accepting these certifications seek a valid VICTORIA driving license(in Melbourne) or 6 months of work experience in the field. While I don't have both, although I have PR to work full-time and 13 yoe in I.T, I'm kinda stuck with this situation, trying to find suitable side hustle before I land an IT job. What do you suggest while I'm working on getting my driving test date availability?
Hey friend, thanks for the comment. Why don't you provide IT services online as a freelancer to small businesses? It might be something very specific you can provide on Airtasker, Marketplace or Gumtree
