+DL1 actually Laxus was born excessively weak, and frail. In fact, without the dragon lacrima, it's said that Laxus could have died. But as a fighter, Laxus is a genius, and knows his strengths and weaknesses very very well, to the point where his weaknesses are very hard to exploit, if not impossible. this makes him a very strong mage, top 4, if I remember correctly, of all fairy tail. He's trained and proven himself to the point where he could be considered a wizard saint if he ever accepted the title - he did beat Jura, number 5 on the list, and who is just as powerful as Makarov, which is to say insanely powerful.

@@breatdarkness3538 Even Gajeel admits he'd be a goner if Laxus actually showed up during the Phantom Lord arc. Like that's how powerful Laxus is now. And I think with his Red Lightning Dragon Mode, he's even more of a beast. But I mean, the other members definitely leveled up as well.

Not only did he waste power on Fairy Law, I always believed Dragon Force (Which I firmly believe Laxus was using) makes the Dragon slayer more dragon-like and as such, more vulnerable to Dragon Slayer magic.

Linkingx2 Well, I suppose this is purely subjective but I think the Fantasia Arc and parts of the Tenrou Island Arc are the best ones. I couldn't care less about Fairy Tail (2014) at this point, such a disappointment.

Acnologia yeah there was a time were it really was bad and only full of this damn fanservicse filler episods, but the curent arc is pretty well i think, cause zeref is soo overpowered and stuff.

natsu never really beat laxus it was like laxus vs every strong person in ft and he was basically about to kill them all if gajeel hadn't absorbed that attack laxus vs natsu laxus will win regardless of natsus flames of emotion because they really aren't enemies so they dont have a big grudge against each other
