What are the thick fluffy brushes that you use to lay down the first background paint? They look like makeup brushes - I’ve not seen them included in any beginner brush sets that I’ve purchased
That’s because they are makeup brushes :) you can find them at the dollar store! I usually use wet n wild contour brushes. I also have some in my Amazon shop
So quick question I wanted to use sea shells and may I like not use like fake sand or real idk because I tried to find some but there isn’t any so could I just use paint and shells? Or would it kinda turn white?
Great question! Without the sand there is no need for the ModPodge/glue layer. You can paint the sandy area a tan color instead. To attach the shells you can just glue them right over top of the painted area...I would use e6000 type glue not hot glue to make sure they stick well. Have you tried looking at Michaels or the craft store for decorative sand? That's where I found mine.
Yes I have but could I use hot glue under the shells so you can’t see because I am gonna use canvas maybe could you tell us th size of the canvas!? And thank you also what’s e6000 glue because lol I don’t know
@@rachaelhicks1428 lol e6000 just tends to hold up better. Hot glue is ok short term but may not hold long term. The canvas size is up to you you, but I used 8x10 size for that particular beach painting :)
