a lot more work to do on lowering costs? nothing has lowered yet. everything is expensive. my wage has not gone up at all since biden was in office. i make less than $26,000 a year after taxes.

Thanks for saving me $65 a month on insulin I don’t use…airline junk fees even though I don’t fly anywhere…and overdraft fees I never incur because I don’t go negative in My bank acct. I feel much more secure now Joe

Real wages are not up for everyone. I have not had a raise to keep up with inflation and i work at a top hospital in the US. We get a 2% raise once a year, and it did not increase when prices went up way past normal inflation. Very frustrating

The very fact that 3% growth is considered "good" is a pretty damning indictment of what gov't has done to us over the last couple generations... If China had 3% growth it'd be considered a disaster! (And no, don't start that crap about them still being a "developing" country. If the US followed actually sensible policies we'd have growth around 5%.)

Of course the numbers "look". This issue is people are paying 4 times more for the same products. They are using all their savings and 401K to live and pay bills. Plus people are working 2 or 3 jobs to survive and retired people are getting part time jobs because their retirement income is not enough. This guy is a joke. The real problem is how people are struggling to make these numbers look good on paper.

My insulin prices went from $800 to $1,400, you're only getting the $35 insulin price if you're on a government health care plan. The drug companies just shifted the cost burden to people with private insurance, my private insurance is still reimbursing based on the old cost not the new cost so more of it's coming out of my pocket.
