Pranburi has changed a lot 25 years ago, there was almost no resort or anything. It is a small fishing village just beginning to have some resorts. Especially the Moroccan-style resort that has just begun to be completed.

I think your conclusion eventually will be: All these calm beach spots are wonderful for a weekend or two-week getaway, but Bangkok has the energy, diversity and vibe I really appreciate. So big city for living and countryside/small town for escape.

Good one, as usual! These videos on the islands are of particular interest to me. I want to know the best ones for me. Not party islands or completely remote. I like a few neighbors around. If a little place on the side of the road has a dozen tables & only 4 are occupied, that's the place for me! Perfect. I see places for $150.-200. a month, love it! Keep 'em comin'! But I noticed you crop the images so we can't see what website it is. Is there a legal reason for this?
