It can definitely be game-changing in a similar manner that Resilience can be, and that was also part of my point. Even for just a yellow, it's surprisingly very strong on Clown when factoring in things like Coup, other pink bottles afterward, being more flexible to gain value, etc.
I still remember how bhvr made solvent jug's duration 2 secs like there was no addon that gives 2 secs invigiration (garish make up kit) and reverted it to 1 secs again...
I do, too! It was during the PTB last summer and I was honestly very excited for it since I figured they'd be buffing Garish Makeup Kit, as well. To be honest, it's somewhat understandable that they didn't go through with the buff since I'll even admit that it's a pretty dangerous idea with respect to buffing Clown.
@@ArinadDBD you only get 0.4 meters of total extra distance. It is not that huge of deal. Flask of bleach is better add-on when it comes to chase improvement with two bottles because chances are that if someone path around your pink bottle, the extra 1 second is unlikely to make the difference. the duration add-on are mostly good for garnish kit because they extend your aura reading radius by 5/10 meters. 5/10 meter doesn't sound like a big deal but you get like 10/20 extra meters of total aura reading with it. A lot of the times, you can spot survivor like outside of chase and sometimes combine an out of chase bonus with pink bottle because you had that extra 2 second prior it. I am not going to say that add-on makes you stealth killer but it gives opening hits that would otherwise not be there.
hey arinad! great content as always! i have a few questions that i wanted to ask. 1. has the gates of death build been affected by the stbfl nerf? and 2. what sensitivity do you play?
The Gate of Death build is definitely significantly weaker as a result of the STBFL nerf due to how much of a role it played in the build's lethality. I haven't had a chance to test of much of an impact this is. As for your other question, I play on 65% sensitivity!
Hi Arinad, i have a question about what will happen with the Gate of Death build you created, now that STBFL got obliterated since last patch, it´s still good for the build? do you think that it can be replaced for other perks? is STBFL still viable in general, not just for GoD build but like in general? take care
I'd say it's still good for the build, but the build itself is a lot weaker as a whole. There's not really any other perks out there that do the same thing STBFL does, sadly.
Thank you for asking, I'm really sad that now the build got a huge nerf too, don't get me wrong I still think it's the strongest clown's build, but I'm not happy with the changes BHVR did for the perk, it doesn't even acknowledge one of it's core issues, which is being a powerful tunneling tool, regardless of that, thank you for answering and your dedication at teaching how to play clown nvn
I remember the old solvent jug yeeeaaarrrs ago. Omg it was sweet af. It caused exhaustion for survivors for 60 seconds and that’s the time of the old and annoying dead hard users. It was the ultimate counter for Dead Hard. I got several DCs because of that 😈. This was long before Clown’s rework.
@@ArinadDBD crazy! do you potentially have any tips for dealing with getting spun? I'm a relatively new killer, and I've been trying higher sensitivities to deal with it better but I still lose them a lot.
@@moploplus Try turning in the opposite direction that they're spinning. If they're spinning to your left, don't try to catch them by turning to your left. Turn to your right and they should show up in front of you. Hope this helps!
What is the point of taking addon price in the consideration, if a match gives more points than can be spent in a single match? What is the point of buying cheaper, if you accumulate so many addons you likely will never be able to play through in your life? There are so many bloodpoints, that all economy is meaningless.
Bloodwebs are generated randomly. If you don't manage your bloodpoints well, you absolutely will go through some of your rarer and specific add-ons (Cigar Boxes, Makeup Kits, Gin Bottles, and Iri Fingers). The only reason I have so many of every add-on and continue to both maintain + grow my stockpile is exactly because of the emphasis I put on bloodpoint economy. I only spend my bloodpoints on Clown, and I also use my offerings and add-ons wisely.
