@@FootRJ2525 No sir, we don't have players yet. Because our junior level training standards are not good. If we already have the players then what is the need of AIFF & FIFA to create academies in India ? Don't talk like a novice. Shukr manao that a coach of Igor's standard came here to change Indian football. Nahi to abhi tak 4-4-2 hi dekhne ko milta, abhi tak niche se Gurpreet ka kick aur upar 2 striker ka heading ka prayas dekhne ko milta. I am praying to God we don't have to repent of his removal from Indian football. I have been following Indian football since the early 2000s but this is the first time I have seen the NT playing such kind of passing and pressing football. But because the players don't have the qualities and are not trained to play this kind of football they can't deliver awesome football. Still they are trying. But to come up to that level we need to have the budding footballers trained from very junior level. Unfortunately this is where we lack the European standards. The only down points during Igor's tenure are: 1. Drawing a game against Bangladesh 2-3 years back, 2. Getting no points against minnows like Afghanistan on the world cup qualifiers. We shouldn't have lost and drawn against the Afghans under any circumstances. Else we would've got the opportunity to play 10 games against the top teams in Asia.
