@Sunyata in my experience the firearms officers are way nicer than the lower end cops with tazers and mace.. that is of course after they point their gun away from your dome but id rather them point a gun at me with no real intention to shoot unless i act stupid than have a fresh out of his pcso uniform pig take one look at me and start spraying the mace because i happened to have a hoodie on that cold rainy day lol
@Sunyata no they pull them as a precaution and shoot if they have reason to for example if you pull a knife out or something get your facts straight I've had multiple point guns at me just until they knew I wasn't armed they had no want to shoot me unless they had to. You don't understand their training
1911 you’re a legend love from Australia. You are so handsome. Thanks AB nice to finally meet a friendly down to earth officer. Why can’t we have more police like 1911...
PC1911 you get lots of compliments from me for handling what could easily be a tense situation. You deescalated it by being a human and not a drone. You didn't try and enforce your ego, nor did you get pedantic about the law, nor enforce your opinions. You were friendly, knowledgeable (knowing about Asgard) and non-threatening. You don't try to control the public, you realise that the public are human just like yourself and that we are all different.
Sad But Mad Lad - great comment! Perfectly phrased. Couldn't have said it better myself! I hope a lot of coppers read it - and take your words to heart !!
1911, a spot on copper who earns respect. Good on you. Police do a difficult job (I’ve worked with the police over many years) and don’t need to make the job harder for themselves and the public. 1911, you do yourself and the force proud.
This video is proof that AB, aswell as other auditors, are making a difference and a massive impact on how police interact with the public! Massive well done AB! And props to the officer for being respectful and accomidating too!
Or just maybe the vast majority of Police Officers are not actually out to persecute anyone. Perceived or overt? In fairness, well played to AB for actually posting this one. I suspect he was expecting (or hoping) for a different outcome with more ‘juicy’ RU-vid bait.
@@kelvynmoore4882 I understand where you're coming from but I think it's slightly off the mark. AB has always been very transparent and posts encounters regardless of outcome. The bad encounters show an example of what not to do, the good encounters are an example of how it should be done. It also shows that not all public workers are bad, aswell as not all public workers are good. There is both, and change is slowly happening as good encounters are becoming more common lately.
@@Rumberler I wish it were true. I really do. PINAC as a notion is absolutely correct and should be upheld. Unfortunately, a lot of these so called and self-appointed 'auditors' are there to deliberately goad and provoke a reaction from good public servants, just because the law says they can. And it makes the synical RU-vid dollar of course. I'm not talking about traffic wardens, park wardens or G4S. I'm talking about filming Police, Fire & Rescue, Military. These are people that, on the whole, have signed up to serve the greater public good and deserve better. Where will it stop? Will these auditors start filming NHS nurses next? Or how about teachers?
Police officer was great this is how to be, loverly friendly kind no hasssle top police officer salute you officer. Great job AB. Officer made a great connection to not be bossy brilliant 10/10 marks for the officer.
What a great interaction! A rare sight to see a police officer who is respectful, polite and non confrontational to innocent members of the public going about their lawful everyday activities. Wouldn't the world be a much better place if all police officers were as approachable and friendly. 👍😎
@@zcharged8294 I think you are confused as to what auditing is exactly about, give your head a shake man. AB was not looking for a 'reaction' FFS. A 'reaction' is exactly what AB is hoping NOT to encounter.
That's the key thing, no defaced flag. That means he a man of independent thought and doesn't follow the crowd like a drone. He doesn't think like the rest and realises that it's not helpful.
@@vincitveritas3872 the flag is not allowed on uniform. The "thin blue line flag" is an icon for the police that is used to assert that they are the line which keeps society from descending into violent chaos. Colloquially, the term also refers to the idea of a code of silence among police officers used to cover up police misconduct.
Officer 1911 is a proper Copper. Lovely reaction, he KNEW! - So the story is out! Question is will they all be on a charm offensive, or will it be 'offensive charm' as we have seen all too recently. Maybe there should be a scoring grid on a percentage, 20% for courtesy as against rudeness, 20% for answering questions as against wanting to 'know stuff' . 20 % for hospitality as against hostility. 20% for engagement as against disinterest. and 20% for service to the public. This scale could go minus as well. This interraction would be eighties somewhere I suggest!
Linguistically, this level of interaction from a British citizen of non-anglophonic origin is extraordinary . I am a British citizen living in France with "Bac plus 5 en francais langue étranger" and i work for the french judicial system when and where possible. Your composure is exceptional. Your linguistic reflexes are more than exemplary. In your country you would not last long, as you don't have those same rights. Respect AB. Thank you for what you do.
You know you're doing something right when the police recognise the voice! He was very good, if only all were that understanding on public photography.
PC 1911 as a PC in office , you sir, are what our society needs , you are a credit to the force ,, stay safe PC 1911 PS , to all officers reading this channel , PC1911 is the type of character we need in democracy ,
PC1911 You are great. A credit to the force. Dont let the force corrupt you. Your station commander should be proud of you. Well done. A conversation, not asking for ID every 2 seconds..
