Picked up the polesaw, 3/8 torque wrench, gloves, 11 inch zip ties (used to be a dollar???), was going to get the 2500 lb winch but they were out - already have one and it's fairly priced. Should have gotten the jack stands, literally just used cinder blocks and wood scraps this morning for putting new tires on the 4 wheeler. I gotta limit myself to one HF trip per month! Got the Bauer brushless 1/2 inch impact driver a couple weeks ago and it's been worth it's weight in gold. Would have went with the Hercules but I already bought into the Bauer batteries. HF batteries are never cheap.
Well, my grandson just entered his senior year in high school. He has been building cars with his siblings, his dad and uncles, myself and my brothers....and he purposely left some of his to dos unfinished on some of his project cars so he can cycle them into his 4th and final yr of auto shop before graduating next year! He has worked in our restaurants in our county, our 2 food trucks, at our auto repair shop, our hot rod shop, hes got his own side gigs too! He 3d prints stuff, he just this beginning summer closed his etsy shop. He made "cosplay" props, helmets and gear? He has toyota tundra cab on a ram 2500 cummins frame, the cab that belonged to the ram was crushed from a tree, so he bought the truck from the yard, checked the frame, everything was fine but the cab and its interior hahaha. He salvaged a 2022 base tundra crew cab. thieves stole truck, took engine, tranny, lift stuff. So he bought the cab, did TRD pro conversion look with blistered fenders that are ugly and unpainted haha. Hes using a series 70 fold down bed from the junkyard. A 66 nova with a 2018, 6.4L from a charger scat pack. an 01 s10 regular cab extreme, donuts, slammed, 5.7L from a 2020 Charger RT, hauls his rebuilt uhaul camper... he has so many projects but always uses his dads or brothers tools. No more! After saving for so long, he got the quinn mech set you just showed, the quinn impact socket set, icon flex ratch combo wrenches, icon cutters, flush cutters, pliers, picks, and folding light. pitt pro ratcheting rotating wrenches in 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 vs the more expensive icon ones. He got 2 jacks one in green one in orange, his stands a pair in green pair in orange, his small chest top and bottom are green top and orange bottom. His tool cart is white! Kid then went to home depot and took advantage of their sales. he got their multi tool m18 feul set, and a m12 fuel driver and angled ratchet tools! All his own money!
That's funny they sell the 3 pack of Allen wrenches so you can tighten the other ones that get loose.🤦♂️😂 On another note, that 65 impala was beautiful. I am a car guy that has owned many old chevy's. I love the 65. I've mostly owned Nova's and camaros. Great content, i just subbed à👍🏽
Thankyou sir! yea got to love the classics just ran into a guyy that had a 65 nova pro street was nice! I need to get back on the impala tighten up some loose ends on it it's like 99%complete ....soooo close!
They don’t have anything that I need this time. But I’m gonna comment on some of their tools, I have the Warrior 4 & 1/2” angle grinder, no complaints from me. The Pittsburgh three pack Torx, SAE & Metric Allen wrenches, the T-15 stripped the first time that I used it, the Pittsburgh tape measures, one the tip broke off plus all mine the paint flaked off couldn’t read the measurements
I have noticed over a period of multiple uses the smaller torx wearing but that was after a lot of use for me. and I got two tapes no issues like that yet. fingers 🤞. Thanks for the comment!
@@AllThingsCool I also was trying to figure out where to put all my chargers and batteries ( I'm on approximately 7 platforms) they were taking up to much shelf space. So I broke down and bought the 3 shelf service cart and three of the magnetic power strips and now that cart is just for batteries and chargers
