They will be back eventually. Marcella now lives in Tennessee with her husband and Jaclyn is still in New Jersey. They have a lot going on in their real lives right now but they will be back when things are not so hectic for them.

I have so many favorite Disney movies. Mary Poppins, The Happiest Millionaire, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Great Mouse Detective, Parent Trap, Princess Diaries. Tangled is so underrated. Princess and the Frog too. I wish they'd be better about adding classic movies. There are quite a few pre-1997 Disney Channel movies I'd like to see them add like Night Train To Kathmandu, Not Quite Human, A Christmas Visitor, and A Friendship In Vienna.

Beauty and the Beast was lovely. So was the live action version. My favourite movies are The Lion King and Tangled. Can't wait for the live action version of The Little Mermaid

Another favorite animated Disney film of mine is "Lady and the Tramp". Walt Disney himself said that that was a fun film that he and the studio made, along with "Dumbo". I may be biased, but I also enjoyed the remake that was released on Disney+. Really. Same goes for "Pinocchio". The new remake is very well-shot, the songs are still memorable, Pinoke himself looked great (very close to his 2D counterpart), Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jiminy did a good job, Keegan-Michael Key was pretty damn funny as Foulfellow (AKA Honest John), and of course, I can't forget Tom Hanks as Geppetto. He did really great. I think this made you sympathize a little bit with Geppetto. I also LOVE "The Emperor's New Groove"! That movie is hilarious through and through, and it shows with the cast! I especially loved Patrick Warburton as Kronk! He just seems like a character you just HAVE to love!!! And Eartha Kitt as Yzma? One quote ALWAYS comes to mind, and it STILL makes me laugh to this day: "Pull the lever, Kronk! WRONG LEVERRRRRR!!!" Love it! And how could I not include "Lilo & Stitch"? Come on! It's a classic in its own right! My favorite character would no doubt have to be Stitch. He's just so cute and fluffy! I REALLY hope they don't ruin him in live-action. Please don't make Stitch look bad. Please don't make Stitch look bad. PLEASE don't make Stitch look bad!!! I would include "Bambi", but I haven't watched that in a LONG time, so... Live-action only in the next list. Edit: Since Touchstone is a division of Disney, I have to include "The Nightmare Before Christmas". Though Tim Burton didn't direct it, he still had a big hand in making the film. What can I say that hasn't been said about it already? It can't be praised enough! It's just so beloved!

Live-action Disney movies only: I gotta start with "Mary Poppins" and "Mary Poppins Returns"! First, the original. Classic movie, classic cast, classic music, classic songs, classic moments. It deserved those Oscars that it won, especially Dame Julie Andrews for her role as the titular nanny. She truly was practically perfect in every way. Now for the sequel. I honestly don't understand why some people don't like it. It captures the same sort of charm as the original, and it included some stuff that weren't in the original film, like the balloon lady. And I think Julie Andrews made the right choice in declining to appear in it. Emily Blunt was terrific as Mary Poppins. She had the personality down pat. Next is "Tron" and "Tron: Legacy". First of all, I need to talk about the sequel. I really liked that film. I don't understand what's so mixed about it. Like, come on! The story is very nice, the cast is great (especially Jeff Bridges reprising his role), and the production design is terrific! Now, I'm not saying it's perfect, 'cause it's not, but I still enjoyed it, so that's what really matters. Now, I love the original movie. The effects and production design when Kevin Flynn gets transported into Space Paranoids is phenomenal. You feel like you wanna visit that place! "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" is awesome. Angela Lansbury was fantastic in her role. I really think she could've been a great Hogwarts teacher. Now, "The Parent Trap", oh boy, lemme tell you about that one! First off, the remake! Lindsay Lohan as the twins? Brilliant. That's the best word to describe her performance. Absolutely brilliant. The '60s version, while not as phenomenal as the remake, I still consider it a favorite, mainly 'cause the Disney Sing-A-Long Songs tapes introduced me to that film (the song "Let's Get Together" performed by Hayley Mills as the twins). It's a pretty good one. And finally, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" Now, THAT movie is one of the true definitions of the word "classic"!!! The cast (especially Christopher Lloyd and the late Bob Hoskins), the story, the music, the characters, the setting, the combination of both live-action and animation... I can't praise that movie enough! Which is why I'm kinda nervous about the sequel that's finally been confirmed. I really don't think a sequel is necessary. What more is there to tell, you know? Finally, the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Johnny Depp is THE Captain Jack Sparrow. That's all I can say. Margot Robbie is better off playing a new character. There's a character named Captain Redd in the Disney Parks, so why not adapt her to the screen for Pirates 6? Come on, Disney! Don't recast! Let's say, Redd is trying to hunt down Captain Sparrow. He may be on the most wanted list again, and maybe Redd sees an opportunity to collect more riches if she were to capture him! Yeah, there ya go! Finally, "Christopher Robin". This is a very heartwarming Winnie the Pooh movie, and the gang from Hundred Acre Wood look so friggin' cute! Ewan McGregor was perfect as an adult Christopher Robin. Couldn't have picked anyone better than him. He put his heart into the role, and it really worked. Well, now for Pixar, in another comment.

Well, now it's time for my favorite Pixar films: I have to start it off with the Toy Story franchise. You can't talk about Pixar without talking about the movie that started it all. I love all of the films, shorts, and specials! Well, all of them except for "Lightyear", that is. But never mind that. I was literally an emotional wreck at the end of the fourth movie! I am dead friggin' serious! "A Bug's Life" is just fantastic! Love the characters, love the story, love the music, love the setting... I'd watch that again and again if I wanted to. Now, "Cars" is an interesting movie. I gotta admit, I wasn't expecting a movie that takes place in a world of anthropomorphic cars and trucks, but I love it. I think the best part would have to be Mater (voiced by Larry the Cable Guy). Dadgum, is he funny! "Finding Nemo" is just... I don't know how to describe my thoughts! It's beautiful, it's heartwarming, it's funny (mainly due to Ellen DeGeneres's performance as Dory), and it's so quotable! "Fish are friends, not food!" "Hi, I'm Dory." 🎶Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...🎶 Now I LOVED the sequel "Finding Dory"!!! I love Dory's backstory about where she's from, her parents, her remembering her past, and... Ugh, I just love it! As for The Incredibles 1 and 2... First of all, I gotta say, I was one of those people who were waiting for the sequel to come, and man was it worth the wait! Okay, now the story's fantastic, the cast is memorable, the animation is terrific, and I just LOVE Edna!!! If I were a superhero, I'd know who to call for designing a supersuit! And Sam Jackson as Frozone? Badass and funny! ADDING ON TO THE ANIMATED DISNEY LIST: "101 Dalmatians", truly a classic. I liked the animated sequel, "Patch's London Adventure", love the live-action remake with Glenn Close, and its sequel, "102 Dalmatians" was pretty good. I have no intention of seeing the prequel, though. Apologies for the separate comments, but I didn't wanna make a SUPER long one, so this was the best option. Also, I do NOT plan to watch "Home On the Range", "Coco", "Soul", or "Turning Red". Same goes for the newly released "Strange World".

This is gonna probably take me a few or so comments, but here are my favorites: First, the films from Disney only (animated, with mentions of the remakes): The ones you two talked about, though I've never seen the 2015 Cinderella remake (and I don't really think I wanna see it), and I'm definitely not looking forward to the upcoming live-action "Little Mermaid" for one reason: Melissa McCarthy as Ursula. I mean, I'll accept Halle Bailey as Ariel and Scuttle being gender-swapped, but Melissa McCarthy is just NOT a good choice for the sea witch. How is it that she stood out above the other actresses who auditioned for the role? She ain't gonna top Pat Carroll from the original (rest in peace). Anyway, next there's "The Jungle Book". I like the original animated version, of course, and I really enjoyed John Favreau's live-action remake with Bill Murray as Baloo (he was really funny). And Heimdall as Shere Khan? Dang, he just nailed it! The kid who played Mowgli was really great too. Now, my next favorite would have to be... "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". Phenomenal film. Don't know how Disney's gonna pull off the live-action remake of that, though. I just hope they pick the right actors for Frollo and Quasimodo, and I hope Clopin doesn't get removed like the crows were removed from Tim Burton's Dumbo remake due to racism. Speaking of Dumbo, that's another favorite of mine. That little elephant is just so friggin' cute! And the remake? He looked even more adorable! I also loved Danny DeVito and Michael Keaton's performances. They did a great job (especially since this is probably the first Tim Burton film since "Batman Returns" to star Michael Keaton). Speaking of Danny DeVito, of course my next favorite would be "Hercules". Loved DeVito voicing Phil, and James Woods as Hades just CAN'T be topped!!! Whoever is cast in the role for the upcoming remake, I'd like to see them TRY to top James Woods. Of course, I can't make a favorite Disney movie list without including "The Lion King"! How can I not, right? I also loved the remake (not sorry)! The original cast is just classic, especially James Earl Jones as Mufasa, and I actually liked the cast in the remake, especially Chiwetel Ejiofore as Scar. Timon and Pumbaa are obviously the best part, though. I love those two! To be continued in my next comment...
