Yeah! IKINÄ killin' it! Their latest album IKINÄ is dark and heavy. Their first two albums are loaded with catchy, melodic, progressive, inventive songs that rock hard. They're either the most melodic band that plays this heavy, or the heaviest band that's this melodic. Or both. It's really a "both" thing with IKINÄ. Both Tuuli and Katariina have beautiful clean singing voices, with interesting differences. They weave intricate harmonies and unison parts around each other. And they can both scream equally well, with a wide range of hsrshes. And they scream in harmony too! PLUS the bassists are both excellent singers. The vocal arrangements are pretty sophisticated. But as a bassist myself I appreciate the inventive riffs and the driving grooves. Good pick! Killer band!
Really big fan of the rock/metal coming from Japan for the last 5 years. Telecide was such an underrated band, still listening to their 2 eps. Mayu from Nemophila is an incredibly dynamic singer. Check out OSKR or dissension. To bad Chucky(SAKI) just quit the band. 😎🤘🇨🇦🤘
