Luque is the most underrated fighter, This dude is a finisher. On a side note, Tyron’s Fall from Grace was kind of a rough one when you look at the competition he went against. The Champ Usman, Colby #1 contender, Burns who also fought for the belt, and Luque who’s the Dark Horse of the division. It was just the up and coming next generation, Tyron just couldn’t keep up with the Top 5 anymore 😭

He can’t wrestle as the elite. He got outgrappled and outwrestled by Leon Edwards. He’s a great fighter though with crazy quick submissions on top, but on bottom he’s less dangerous

one of the most unique fighters i've seen in the way he find these finishes. He is so aware and lucid in there he always finds the finishing move if you stand and bang with him. you gotta approach it like wonderboy pop-shots while circling. every second youre exchanging strikes or playing the ground with luque is a second closer you are to getting finished.

4:38 "all seven of his UFC VICTIMS" Anik's subconscious coming out, couldn't even call them "opponents". The most beautiful thing is his blend of aggression and technique on those d'arce chokes. He jumps on them super fast, but is always super technical and fluid in adjusting the grip on the bicep and the angle his forearm makes on the carotid. No wasted energy on HULK SMASH squeezes or "i'm shitting my pants" facial expressions (thinking specifically about Wanderlei trying to guillotine Bisping lol). Efficient, offensive BJJ.

Luque has bad head movement and went up against the best striker in UFC. It was a mistake to get into a stand up fight with him.

@@averagecasual4801 Jan doesn't belong on that list. Wonderboy is better than all of them. Poirier lacks accuracy. Max lacks power and head movement. Izzy and Yan are both contenders for the second best spot.

@@bendover7841 man, I get that you want to defend your point, and Wonderboy is great, but saying Max lacks head movement is kind of an insane statement. And Izzy is a far more accomplished striker than Wonderboy.
