Been eyeing one and today rented one. It really felt great in hand. On paper it immediately showed itself too. Although in store, I recall the trigger being a bit nicer than the one I rented. I was unsure if there's been updates/new gen that I may have seen vs rented. Either way.. I'll price one out this weekend.
Excellent video! I agree with you on how Springfield released the Echelon. I noticed that too but didn’t think much about it. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one thinking about that tactic. Great video I subscribed and hit the 🔔👍🏾
Nice choices! I have all but the Canik and I feel the same way you do about each one. I carry my Echelon and 43x the most out of the bunch. Great video, thanks! 👍
Built a 365 recently, Macro grip module, regular slide with threaded barrel and comp(flush fit), EPS carry, DPM spring, TLR7 sub with pro ledge. Man this thing is everything I’ve ever wanted. Been buying and selling to find the perfect carry gun and this is it.
I like my MC9 as well. My top carry would be Hellcat Pro, Shield Plus, MC9, Hellcat and my Walther PDP would be a the top but it's size causes me not to carry it as much. Nice collection
I love my Canik TP-9 SC. Great size, reliability, fun at the range too. The safety is built into the trigger so it's ready when you are. Fortunately never had to use it for self defense but I feel pretty confident having it by my side.
The grip is wayyyy to fat for my taste x. My hellcat pro is much thinner and shoots like a dream. The stock can be firm but after 2k rounds I swapped in an apex. So sweet now!
I just gotta say whether this is a work space or a filming setup, your lighting is very even and nice! Also your pistol builds are really clean man, what a collection, I’m envious. I’ve got a 19X build very similar to your 45, but I haven’t built up he courage to mill the slide yet.
Glad to see Canik getting the love it deserves, i run a Canik TP-9 Elite SC for EDC and its been a very reliable gun at the range it runs whatever grain i run through it flawlessly and is a super comfortable well balanced easily concealable pistol
Cool list. Especially bcuz I have some of the same ones 😅. I have a PDP Pro SD Compact, a G45 and an MC9. I have the hardest time trying to pick my favorite but that's a good problem to have IMO 😂. Happy Holidays!!
This was an amazing video and thank you.I'm looking for a budget friendly gun with a lot of bang for the buck. How would you compare the mc9 next to the shield 9 plus? Not gonna lie i've never had issues with all my other caniks but the mc9 with all the negative reviews that are out there scare me a little.
I have the p320 and I love it never had a problem carried it for 3 years , I carry a shadow system mr920l, and she is lights out a great edc in my opinion.
Loving Your Top 5!! The only one that I have outta Your Top 5 is the G43 X... so I've got some saving to do to get a couple of the other pistols on Your Top 5
Your right about that Springfield. They should have released that in tan and went for the contract that was free pub. Other companies are also making smaller guns smaller mags more capacity
Awesome carry review I’m by far not a rich man so my carry for closer to full size is my Taurus g3 with a light mounted mid size to compact is my g2: c with a light mount for pocket carry I just got a sig p365 and a ruger lcp2 380. So far all have been very reliable for me.
I love the g2c one of my first 9mm I got about 4 years ago. Still have it and use it. Now I tried the g3 and g3c but they were super picky on hollow points. I polished feed ramps etc I have seen other people with same issues with the 3 series. But I give 2 thumbs up to g2c
I jus bought the walther pdp f last week to add to my collection, still havent tested it out, but my collection consist of glock 23 gen 5, glock 19 gen 5, glock 29 gen 4, p365 xl, smith &wesson m&p 2.0 peformance center in 40 cal, and last but not least my walther pdp F
Glock 43x mos for the win. No disrespect, I love the video because you make sound arguments of what works for YOU. However, the Glock 43x mos with the slide cut for a hollow sun is the absolute best for me. It not only meets my self-defense needs, (accurate, reliable, concealable, cost effective, LIST GOES ON!!!). Also may I suggest a green dot hollow sun over a red dot! If you know you know, and once you know you will NEVER go back. God bless and thanks for the helpful video. You changed my mind on a few guns through sound logic and talking about aspects I hadn’t thought about. God bless man!
On the gen 5 extended mag release my suggestion would be look for the smallest extension you can find and try that first. My buddy had one and it was having a bunch of accidental mag drops. Don't remember the brand. He switched to one that was just a tiny bit longer and I mean almost not noticeable by the eye. By feel though it made all the difference for him and ZERO accidental mag drops. For me the gen 5 mag release works fine but gen 3 did not so I understand.
Nice collection. The modularity of the 320 and 365 is unmatched. You can do anything you want to tailor it to you. It's ingenious. In my opinion the 365 axg legion has to be in there. Either number 1 or number 2.
Doing research for my first firearm. Glock and Sig Sauer are my top two brands right now. I dont have a CCW yet so Im looking for something for the house right now. If/when I get my CCW, I'll look for something with the right size.
A little disappointed to see the g45 at #4 but everything you stated about it is exactly my experience. I love my g45 but having to slightly break grip would but my only critique. I’ve considered installing an extended release but I’ve trained around it for so long now it’s not even an issue anymore. Great vid.
I’m torn between the p365 and 320. You got a parts list on that 320 because the size is better for concealment than the 365. Love your setup on the 320
Love that stiletto trigger on the 43x when I was looking for it empire only had the ones with out the trigger safety, even tho I carry with a holster I’m not sure I’m that comfortable trusting carry that pointing at my nuts lol
Love the content. What would you prefer for less recoil and light weight handgun to carry affordable and 13 rounds or higher?? I have an 1911 rock armory 45acp. It’s heavy asf but with everything going on out here I just wanna be prepared for what comes at me and mine. Thanks
I agree with you about the Echelon's release marketing. To leave the fate of a new pistol in the hands of online creators is marketing suicide. Either the analysis is going to be biased, inconclusive or shilled. If we solely relied on RU-vid reviews, we'd miss out on hidden gems like the M&P CSX. Especially if it gets in the hands of Yankee Marshall or Humble Marksman.
I think they quickly saw the feedback from regular folks and realized it themselves too. It became a running joke basically because all the big creators had the exact same gun built up the exact same way lol
My goodness that trigger on that mc9 seems very similar to my Steyr C9 A2, really no travel distance at all and the wall break feels like a withered rubber band popping between the fingers
Im planning on getting two conceal carries: The Sig M17 and the Springfield armory XD-M Elite 3.8" compact OSP in 10mm. Im not goin to go all punisher and buy a ton of firearms. My plan is two hand guns, a rifle and one semi-auto shotgun
@@dariuskincaid Thank you. Did you buy just the trigger or an entire FCU? I have the same P320 X Compact with a Wilson lower. It does have a stock trigger and it’s ok, but yours sounded like a it has a more pronounced break. That is compared to the stock trigger which doesn’t really have that defined crisp break like my VP-9SK has.
Those two glock has a look that only a momma can love. The height on those sights seems hard to see the dot and that Surefire is two big for that gun to me. Lol. The other three are nice. My favorite of yours is the Walther PDP
Dude...awesome video and I screamed on the P320! 🤣 Got my first gun this year and it happened to be P320, which I absolutely love shooting and feel almost identical to what you said about yours. Mine isn't nearly as upgraded as your though, so now I gotta figure out which parts to get. Mind sharing some of your upgrades with a new gun owner?😅
Nice! And of course man, so right now mine has a Holosun 508t up top for the optic, it has a patmos slide and barrel and internals which comes with the tall sights. For the frame I have it outfitted with the sig axg frame and for the gas pedal (which is the takedown lever) I have a sig one which they carry on their site. Trigger is also a sig trigger which they carry on their site. For the light i alternate from the tlr7a or the surefire x300. I carry it in a werkz holster or a tier 1 concealed holster 👍🏽
@DeenoDice yes have shot both however it's been years since shooting a Canik. That's a hard comparison. I would say it feels better in the hand and the alloy adds the perfect amount of extra weight where I don't notice recoil any more than a Glock 19. The g10 grips just fit so damn good in the hand. Two range visits and 500rds so far. I'm loving it.
Nice collection, i justed got a glock 19 MOS, on february i really like it alot, I got me the mc9 and the tp9 elite, theyre awesome, my son use a taurus tx22 that he likes alot since hes 11 that one as zero recoil for him. Im planning to buy a mp shield plus at the end of the month..where do you get your triggers from??
What holster you have for the Echolon, Im thinking on buying one but i don’t find a holster with a side carry that will fit that set up that you have there.
Have you tried the Springfield Hellcat Pro model? I love that pistol, it's just a little over 1in wide. With Holosun EPS Carry you get cowitness with stock iron sights. It's in my EDC rotation.
I need some diversity in my collection, I’m a Glock fanboy so I’m finally venturing out. I recently bought a CZ P10c and an Sig P320 Xcarry. Love ur videos also.
