My brother's and I all had muscle cars late, 60th n 70th. 69 chevell 396 ,72 GTO 400, 66 chevell 396, Nova 327, 69 Mustang 289. All of them were fully equipped. Memories those were our toys as young adults. There was no money in our pockets, but we enjoyed our muscles. This video is awesome. Remember going to the drag stripes. Bunker Hill Indiana, us 30 Joliet, to include Baytown Texas, to include other stripes mid-60th. Shut out to all muscle car owners. Let it Rip. Then we turn to owning bigger muscle machines. Peterbuilts, western stars, Frightliners. Keep posting these videos. Greetings from GySgt Montemayor USMC Retired 77-97 Santa Rosa, Texas
how gives a shit about what a dragster should do or sound like! if Anyone of these pulled up to me at a stop? Damn, “i’m not worthy, i’m not worthy” …..
Not into that sound at all. Sounds like an engine that's not tuned properly. I understand people like it. I don't, reminds me of so many people that enjoy listening to a car that backfires because of poor back-pressure. They just love it, I hate it.
@@samuelmiller6191- No, it’s not the cam. It’s the tune. The engine is going from lean to rich which can easily be tuned out. The owners think it sounds cool. Kinda like jet boat guys who drive around with their jet drive trimmed up so it shoots big rooster tails at 50 mph. 100% compensation. Whatever.
Super hard compound tires, I had a set of Z rated hard compound Street legal race tire and you could wear half inch deep grooves in the street and not even notice and tread missing lol.
I had a roots blown 538 chevy pro stock engine with perfect idle and peeps asked what is wrong with it not surging?Had a large mech roller and 15% overdriven but still only destroyed my converters.@@FinnellRacing
It annoys the heck out of me. I also don't like hearing waste gates open on turbo charged cars. Naturally aspirated is the best. The thumbnail showed a car with two blowers one on top of the other, that's dumb looking.
Box perf is more famous for almost killing Billy the kid as their "race engine started to self de assembly mid run causing the car hit the wall at some dangerous speed.Effin amateurs...
Was waiting for someone to post this. Dudes don’t even know how to properly weld in weights to balance a crankshaft. Almost cost Billy his entire car when the weight flew out and went through his oil pan. If I had to guess the owners let a trainee do the work without checking on it. No decent professional engine builder with ANY experience would have let that engine out the door like that.
