Hello Friend! Today video is featuring Our Top Five Favorite Overlooks on Skyline Drive at Shenandoah National Park. After visiting to Skyline Drive years after years, these five viewpoints between, Thornton Gap Entrance and Big Meadows, are where we stop to enjoy the view with every visit. You can enjoy the view from these overlooks involving no hiking at all. Also, we’re taking you to our secret spot where you can enjoy the vista of valley view away from crowd. In addition, on the day we visited to film this video, we encountered Sea of Clouds forming among the mountains and it was the first time ever we saw the scene at Shenandoah National Park. That wonderful scenes were added as bonus clip at the end of the video for you to enjoy! So, if you're ready let's escape together into Shenandoah National Park!

Very nice time of the year to visit. I last visited in winter and it was nice except for half of Skyline Drive was closed due to ice. But views were made nice by fresh snow.

Yes. Fall is probably the best time to visit but we like it there all year round though. Except, we've never been during Winter time there. Sounds amazing the way you describe the view with fresh snow!

Was the lanes in the tunnel narrow? I hate driving through tunnels especially when the lanes are narrow. I love your secret hiding spot it looks peaceful with great views.

The tunnel is pretty spacious and plenty of lights coming thru during daytime. Also, not too long either. So, not scary at all to pass thru.😊 Thank you so much! 💕We usually go that spot and sit there for quite a while when the weather is nice!

I would start from Front Royal entrance which is the beginning of skyline drive then you can decide which exit (Thornton Gap, Swift Run Gap and Rockfish Gap)to take depends on how far you would like to drive. If it's day trip I would suggest exit from Thornton Gap which takes around 32 miles from Front Royal but you'll see a lot of beautiful spots along the way which you see in the video. Hope this help.
