It’s Australian drag racing’s Holy Grail - the Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway. It’s the biggest drag racing spectacle outside of the United States and it’s also the final round of the 2018-19 400 Thunder Drag Racing Series.
It’s also the venue where the 400 Thunder Top Fuel Championship will be decided, as three drivers from two teams all vie for the top prize. Who will claim championship glory in 2018-19?

The bundled up spectators in the stands reminds me of the Northwest Nationals in Seattle. So many cars "in memory" of somebody. Is Aussie racing more dangerous?

No we use the exact same safety equipment as the us. The 3 black santo rapisarda cars all have it on them but only those 3 because rapisardas son passed away in a top fuel years ago.
