I think the pep needs really high light. Mine is on the top shelf of my outdoor greenhouse and it thrives. Same as my other string of plants. I killed my string of hearts when I had it in my house. But I got a second one and put it high up in the greenhouse it thrives. Most of my begonias I leave outside near my front door and they're super happy. Honestly the second I put most of my plants outside the level of THRIVE that occurred makes me never want to keep a plant in the house again. But I do live in northern Florida where it gets hot and humid.
Yay for sponsorships!! I love skillshare, it's got so much great content on there. Btw I struggled with the string of turtles and begonia Rex as well and definitely learned a thing or two - one of which is the importance of air circulation. I have care tips videos on them on my channel that has helped many viewers which you might find useful! 💜
Hi! My ficus umbellata is in a south facing window, they need a lot of light and this one doesn’t like to be too dry, compared to other ficus. Hope that helps!
Accidentally overwatered 2 plants this month so they're on the way out (syngonium and Hoya krimson princess). One good save though: my peperomia turboensis was struggling for so long as soon as I put it under the grow light in high light conditions it just started coming alive again.
I have begonia rex now for about 3 months, it did look sad, but to me when a plant is like that, I ignore it, like hardly water it, I don't even look at it, then it thrives with little care, 😂 I guess they don't like too much love. Just like my purle oxialis, ignore me and I'll grow better, 😂 good luck🤞
I have the same problem with all my Rex begonias and I threw them all in terrariums They dropped all their old leaves and are pushing up new leaves I just roll my eyes at them and leave them alone at this point lool But I still keep buying them 😭😭😭
Pepp Prostrata need tons of humidity, probs why she did well in tent. I had similar issue, so like you took cuttings as insurance. I find they are their name sake, growing better prostate than hanging.
